"Stripped of Dignity" is an AU I've had laying around for a while about newspaper comic strips. Even if some of them haven't aged all that well for me, I loved reading them as a kid and thought I would show them some love in this way.

Big Nate takes the role of Papyrus.

When I first decided in December 2020 that Big Nate would take the spot of Papyrus, I told myself that I'd wait on the Nyeh + Trousle until Nate's TV show was out. For a while I really thought it was get cancelled, but here we are. It's finally out. The motif here is the show's theme song, which was always my plan and why I had Toadie wait so long.

- I could see the cloth shaking, hear the mask trembling.
- Sort of reminded me of Kartofell...
- So I opened my mouth to speak, but they'd already began to utter and stutter once more.
JY: Oh, where are my manners, I-I'm Jay…
- The bird extended out a hand and I took it. I had little else to lose.
- It was feathery... And moist.
- Can birds sweat? I never checked... And still pray that they can.
JY: Y-you don't really need to introduce yourself I already know alot about you and…
JY: Wait that sounded…I'm sorry, I'm no good at this…
- I felt somewhat bad for them. They were clearly struggling and I was no help.
- My unique brand of semi-silent stoicness was not what they needed right now.
- So I spoke, with a soft smile naturally forming alongside it.
- "It's alright... You're doing fine."
- A silence followed this, but I feel he appreciated it.
JY: So, your trying to help the people here correct? 
JY: B-by dancing? 
JY: That's certainly unconventional.
JY: Well I wanna help! I know you have no reason to trust me, a-and I'm certainly no hero, but I wanna help the people here too…E-even if I'm useless.
- I just shrugged.
- "Why not."
- I already had a scarecrow and a weird gremlin creature on my side, alongside a man who was rather normal by these standards... So why not a bird too?

Here we are with an appetizer! We’re picking up our “Apocalyptic Trilogy” (https://soundcloud.com/beatingedge/sets/apocalyptic-trilogy)  with a recap! This instrumental track is actually a variation of the one heard during Carl’s speech at the end of “Let’s Die Tonight”, which introduced the zombie theme of the song that will close the trilogy!
We want to point out that watching the video will be just as fun (…or maybe more traumatizing, depending on your taste!) as listening to the song alone! 
This instrumental recap also hides a few details worth discovering in the video, which we highly recommend watching, since it doesn’t just include scenes from “Everything Changed” and “Let’s Die Tonight” (the first two songs of the “Apocalyptic Trilogy”), but also gives a few hints of the upcoming track, titled 🔊“Left for Dead”🧟‍♂️, coming out in a couple of days.
