The Adventures of Vector Owl - Theme Tune and Intro

Vector Owl is a cheeky magical owl who gets up to various antics in the forest he calls home. Quite often,  he just wants to have a quiet snooze but pesky creatures keep disturbing him. 

Thankfully, with his understanding of the power of vector magic, he can conjure up solutions to these annoyances and get back to having a well earned rest.

Background
 
This project began with a 10 second piece of music and a very simple 2D animation of a little character called Vector Owl. 

The music was expanded into a full theme tune, a brand new redesigned Vector Owl emerged and a change of animation software resulted in what you see here. Whilst familiar with creating music, animation is a completely new world to me and I'm still learning as I go.

All the graphic elements are vector-based, using a combination of Serif Affinity software for graphical development and various open-source packages for animation and video editing, with the original music created in Cubase Pro.

Now this intro is complete I'm hoping to get started on his first adventure.

I think this haiku is a perfect match with the track I've been trying to create for some time... immediately after reading it I had very clear ideas on how to make it all happen.
 There are several recordings, the oldest was made with the guitar, processed on the elektron octatrack in 2020.
 About a month ago I found the central part of the song while experimenting with the vcv rack and the initial part (which takes up the final guitar theme) is the most recent recording processed with the Fm8 synth.
 recorded in Ableton and subsequently mixed in Cubase.
