Pure Space is thrilled to welcome label boss Andy Garvey for her first EP on the label. Across three tracks Andy Garvey masterfully glides through sharp trance and thrilling techno.

Kicking off the release is ‘Heavy’, a tightly wound trance cut that comes with subtly uplifting chords and granulated vocal samples. It’s a thoughtfully introspective track, with each element delicately propelling you forward throughout.

Up next ‘Let’s Go’ heads into the main-room. A dizzy-ing cut that is made for winding up dancefloors at peak time. The track has a refined yet reckless energy, with its sharp bassline and ever evolving delayed vocal samples.

Finally Who Am I closes out Garvey’s originals on the release. Inspired by the dance music of her teens, the track comes with tight synthesis, whirring sirens and a grooving bassline.

Split EPs are sexy, which is why W133 proudly presents W133D005 by Noti x Brandon Braun.
Noti kicks off the EP with "Dream," a tension-building, simple groover that pulls you into hypnotic states. 
If you find yourself lost too deep, don't panic, as his second track, "Future," will gently rouse you back. 
It's a lo-fi roller with unique percussion work and just the right blend of weird grooves and sounds.
On the virtual B-Side, we find three originals by Brandon Braun. 
"Destined to Meet" is a techno/house hybrid destined to become a summer hit. Uplifting synths and passionate vocoder vocals bring a smile to everyone's face. Following that, he presents two dubby techno tracks:  "Zero G" and, last but not least, "Memories". Both tracks are more dramatic and melancholic yet maintain a light and playful essence, serving as perfect closers for the EP.

I kept getting asked this question. "How does the Edge compare to the DFAM?" — had to answer them, right?

(And trolls kept saying "ah the Edge just sounds worse than the DFAM"...)

This doesn't actually pitch them against each other. Instead, it shows that they're indistinguishable in a track. By making them collaborate in a way that is almost entirely opaque to you, where they share sounds.

Oh. This also happens to be a percussion only jam. I've made a 3 minutes radio edit for this month's RedMeansRecording  challenge, which was:

"ONLY PERCUSSION — Make something using only drums and percussion instruments, synthesized or natural, pitched or atonal."
