This is for Tonia and Michelle. 2 1/2 years ago, Tonia lost her husband. She never told me what happened, I just figured it was none of my business. Tonia is a sweet and loyal woman who deserves to be treated by Fate much more kindly than this. This left me wondering what I should say to her. I said nothing. This is also for Michelle, who's husband, me, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. What do you say to your wife? I'm sorry? No, I have found that in both cases, the best you can do is give them a hug and tell them you love them. That's what this song is about. I hope you enjoy it.

I have brain cancer. My life is on hold while I fight this battle. Most days, I win, some days, I lose, but we always fight. This album we are putting together is the brain child of my producer Scott Giggy and anything you like is due to him making me sound better than I am. My little brother Matthew Gehrett (Cyanotypes) is also instrumental as he is my rhythm section and harshest critic. He expects nothing but perfection from me. As he has our entire lives. To these two, my beautiful wife and all my children go all the credit. I'm just singing into a can.
