MIA'S STORY

In the tapestry of Mia Cara Cosco's life, the call to #adventure echoed with the #death of her #mother at the age of seven. Amidst these trials, her encounters with #psychedelics opened new realms of #perception and she co-founded the UBC #Psychedelic Society, fundraised for MAPS #Canada, volunteered for The Zendo Project, & visited Johns Hopkins’ #psilocybin laboratory while working in #VentureCapital. 

After #university, she started to consult with psychedelic & #wellness companies on #marketing #strategy — which she still does to this day.

Over the tumultuous backdrop of the #COVID19 era, something died within Mia — the necessity to prove herself in predefined roles. Instead, a #rebirth beckoned, and she embraced her true #essence as an #author. In this #metamorphosis, Mia is #writing a #book serving a profound #exploration of #loss, psychedelics, & the #beauty woven into the fabric of grief.

forever young is dedicated to jalen. a friend lost too young on 12/23/2019. one of the many ways life humbles you is through the cycle of life and death. in this case death came to our loved ones before they reached 27, actually before 21. this is the second single for my upcoming project that will cover the range of grief through death, friendship break ups, and family matters. it's time to get vulnerable noughtie babies.
