My remix of Apocalypse by Cigarettes after Sex tries to follow the steps of the original version with an organic / afro house vibe.

For me is just a small tribute to this amazing band. Their songs had impacted so many lives and in so many ways that is just difficult to explain it in one post. 

“Apocalypse” was released in 2017 by the Indie/Rock Band Cigarettes after Sex.  For the writer and vocalist of the band, Greg Gonzales the song is “ultimately being there for people, when youre alone. it was like a little affectionate statement to them” 

If you never had Cigarettes after Sex in your life, its time to open your heart to a whole different sensation about music.

Born in Brazil, Adnan Sharif immigrated to San Francisco, California in 1987.

His DJ career began in 1995, and his musical style includes all genres of House Music, ranging from deep, minimal to tech.

Adnan is the founder and resident of the Forward SF party, which for 13 years made big part of the San Francisco's electronic culture.

Since May 2013 he is a resident at  D.EDGE in São Paulo, at the parties Freak Chic and Superafter.

At the end of 2000 he began his journey in music production, releasing in labels such as:
Smoke N Mirrors, D-Edge Records, OM Records, Uniting Souls Music, Release Sustain, Erase Records, Rezongar Music, Area Sur Records, Temple Music Group, Tarantic Records and Jah Love Recordings.
