A joint effort between Nate2timez and Mark Schirmacher, "Stories from the Other Life" represents long-distance musical collaboration at it's finest. 

Mark sent stems, Nate2timez produced the tracks, and talking back and forth about arrangements, instrumentation, and final mixes, the two created a lively, organic, methodical, and daring collection of accessible dream-pop songs.

"Amends" explores self-mercy and accountability after the second stage of grief: Anger. It is a nod to what I’ve learned through years of therapy about the power of naming. It is a fearless moral inventory, an understanding of the effect on self and other, an odyssey through four and five of The Twelve Steps. My recovery journey has been riddled with shame that still lives in my bones. The final line of the song is an attempt to exorcize this shame from my body. By acknowledging the ruins of my Anger, I am attempting to destroy the destroyer.

was in a south australian band  "genestera"  in the 70s, playing  sax and flute.
then went through a  long hiatus from music playing till about 10 years ago, when i started to actually compose fragments of tunes on paper.
a few  years ago  i started to record these in garage band.  using  flute, sax, celtic harp, mandola, ukelele, acoustic guitar, tin  whistle and kitchen sounds.
plus a bit of keyboard typing synth. love  all sorts of music  esp early pink floyd, early tull, medieval music, kraftwerk, world music, experimental and ambient music.
loves using  accidents and natural sounds in the music. started to collaborate "very recently" with others adding  flute etc to others compositions.
