Unravel

Another snippet, this time a combination of 3 tracks - hue puruhau, porotiti and tumutumu kōhatu - from the forthcoming release 'Whakaputa'. The hue puruhau is a large open, hollow gourd that is blown across the top. The porotiti is a small wooden spinning disc suspended on a string drawn through two holes in the middle, and spun in front of the chest. Tumutumu kōhatu are two small stones struck together in a percussive manner.
