I had the wonderful opportunity to record a distant passing thunderstorm. A favourable wind direction with only light rain allowed me to set up the equipment under the roof overhang on the balcony. 
The recording is deliberately moderately levelled to preserve the atmosphere of the events.

Small Forest Road Nosie

An old road connecting a town and a village is embraced by the forest. They only go riding and cycling on the road where there are no cars at all! 
Here I randomly placed the LOM BasicUcho pair of microphones on the land and started recording. You could hear some human and city noise in the background! But the flies are more talkative. Slovákia. Taken near the village of Hamuliakovo.

A big old tree in a forest along the road. A very striking tree. I thought I`d listen to it. With Geophone you can hear the sound of the big old tree knocking. It`s interesting to listen to. Slovákia. Taken near the village of Hamuliakovo.

Wind In The Open Field.

I was in the mood for a little experimentation. I wondered how different it would be from a normal sound recording. I covered the stereo microphones with two different cloths and put a bag over them. I also recorded sounds at the same time with the stereo microphones using the Geophone. I tried to adjust this to the correct volume. I did not do anything else!
