What an honour to play the tipi forest along some legends! I'm still beaming of the experience! Big shout out to the Tipi Crew and my amazing friends for the journey of a weekend.

The Bass Cowgirl went all out for this one.. This is probably one of the filthiest bass sets I've done! Starting with Bass House, going to breaks and then finishing Drum and Bass.

Wow what a weekend at Your shot Brisbane!
I competed in the Wildcards category at The Red bull silent disco on the Sunday... My intention for my set was to have fun and have the opportunity to network in the Brisbane scene... a few hours later i was announced as the Wild card winner of the day and was called to the main stage to play my set. I couldn't believe it honestly! At the end of the night i was announced second, and Fresh Avo took the title! Well-deserved winner! 

Defiantly recommend to any beginner djs or experienced to apply for your shot.. its opened a lot of doors for me and Ive made connections ill hold for a lifetime.

YOUR SHOT BRISBANE 2022 Wildcard Runnerup set - Bass Explosion

This Bohemian beat freaks was super special to me. 

Our collective The Clitoverse took over the Boho Lounge Saturday night from 6:30pm - 12:30am. Having some of the most talented upcoming women on our line up. Queen K, Camilla Rosa, Themzy, Majito and myself. So proud of all the girls for smashing their sets. 

My set is a journey of bass; i decided to do some things a little different and experiment. Starting at 105 bpm and finishing at 175 bpm. A range of mid tempo, bass house and drum and bass.

Initiation Festival NYE 22/23 Live Set House & DnB

Byron DNB was set to host a massive Drum and Bass event featuring a showcase by the award-winning label, Born On Road, for a take over at the Great Northern on March 9th featuring Aries, Kelvin 373, and Selecta J-Man.

Born On Road, hailing from Bristol UK, won the Drum and Bass Award the Best Label of 2022 and its producer and DJ, Aries, was honoured as the Junglist of the Year in 2021. This event was must-attend for drum and bass fans in the Byron area, as some of the top headliners in the world come together for this celebration.

I supported this epic night with a feminine but filthy bass set. Along side local support from Drew ID, 8Ball Audio's Duos, Byron DNB residents Dave Quendo, and The 4'20' Sound. The session was hosted by the MC Snuze from the Fun Police.

One of the highlights of 2023 so far, and cannot wait to see where 2023 takes my Drum and bass career ❤️‍🔥

Earth Frequency 2023 with the Wonky Tonk crew was an epic time! 

I played Saturday night 10pm-11pm. A combination of bass house +  drum and bass to get all the doofers grooving! 

What a great festival to be apart of and catching up with much loved community.

SophDexx, also known as "The Bass Cowgirl," is a powerhouse in the world of drum and bass and house music, electrifying dance floors with her pulsating beats and infectious energy. Her unique style features filthy bass lines that bring high energy and expression, creating an electrifying atmosphere that gets people grooving and dancing. Hailing from Dharawal Country Thirroul and 5 years later living her best life on Bundajlung Country she has become a driving force in the Northern NSW electronic music scene, leaving an indelible mark with her signature sound and unforgettable sets.
 
As an uprising artist in the Australian music industry SophDexx has played at events such as Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Splendour in the Grass, Bohemian beat freaks, Initiation Festival and Earth Frequency Festival. SophDexx's versatility in dance music has led to support slots for popular Australian artists such as Peking Duk, Terrence and Phillip, Odd Mob, Sammy the Sinner, Bag Raiders, and The Aston Shuffle. She has also had the privilege of supporting many international artists and labels, including Born on Road (UK), Phibes (UK), Culture Shock (UK), Ed Solo (UK) and Gene Farris (USA).

Beyond her DJing and production endeavors, SophDexx is actively engaged in the music community. She is a resident of the "Clitoverse," a collective based in Bellingen, NSW, focused on empowering and promoting women in the music industry. Additionally, she is a resident of "Byron DnB," further demonstrating her commitment to the local electronic music scene. SophDexx's  is passionate for spreading her love of dance music and empowering other women in the industry is indeed a positive force for change. It's individuals like her who help make the world of music a better and more inclusive place for everyone.
