Creativity is a marvel to behold. But while many of us believe that creative genius is the providence of the few, Kabbalah disagrees.

Every human soul, without exception, contains an embedded streak of creativity, the capacity to discover the heretofore undiscovered and make a radical mark on the world. Every person has the spiritual and psychological capacity to reach beyond consciousness to a place of untapped creativity.

How do we access this inherent creativity, you ask? To do this, we need to first understand the sefirah of Chochmah.

In this session of Kabbalah Cafe we push up against the outer limits of the soul's spiritual capacity and discover some of the greatest gifts yet to be unwrapped. What we learn will change the way you look at yourself... and the world at large.

Binah is used to hearing that she needs to stick with one style of dance music. She’s also used to proving her skeptics wrong.

Having started out as an open-format DJ, Binah eventually found her chosen family in the underground. Her love of changing attitudes through music never went away, though. She’s not only a fixture of techno gatherings by the likes of Tenth Aesthetic but also broken beats collectives like Fraktured Seattle. Be it a single set or the course of her career, she comes ready to improvise on the spot.

Binah’s expert ear for artful noise and hypnotic loops gives her a firm grasp on the subtlety of techno. She doesn’t shy away from its futurist philosophy, incorporating unexpected elements like primal syncopations and otherworldly atmospheres to keep pushing the culture forward. Binah curates spaces where seemingly conflicting ideas can coexist, making her dance floor a common ground where otherwise disparate communities can unite as one.

No matter what she plays, Binah stays true to the challenging refinement of underground electronic music. Beyond that, there are no limits. It is this openness and excitement that keep on pushing her forward.
