Zahvat (pronounced like ‘zákhvat’) is a Ukrainian DJ, the girl next door in regular life, and the bundle of energy on a stage.

The alias belongs to Dariia Kornieieva, who lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Exploring different electronic music genres, the girl is finally coming back to where she started – to electro. Zahvat’s sets are a mix of modern and old-fashioned, sexy and ridiculous at the same time. The more odd sounds – the more chances the track has to get into her collection.

Zahvat played at ∄ (Kyrylivska 41), Strichka Festival (Closer), Brudnyi Pes Festival, Stezhka, Veselka, Night Ambassadors, Some People, Brukxt, Community Cafe, HÖR, etc. 

Dariia is also a host and author of the Vzahvativid Podcast, a resident of the girls' volunteer organization CVIT and queer event series Stezhka.
