But to the average person, the names of dogs in our hall of fame mean absolutely nothing at all.  But there are a few dogs from&nbsp;&nbsp;that have achieved fame beyond the bird dog world. Let’s have a look at some of the most celebrated among them.&nbsp;

Clapper rails don’t sing. They cackle. It’s a guttural call emanating from somewhere deep within each tiny bird that reverberates with enough force to trigger a cascade. Once one rail calls, every rail within earshot erupts into its own chorus. The cacophony sends a ripple through the salt marsh and shatters its peaceful silence like glass.&nbsp; Today, however, there is no peace, and there is no silence. It’s already been shattered. Welcome to the episode 60 of ZZGO Radio!

It's my last mix of 2024 and what a crazy year it has been.  Highlights include building a 20 foot projection mapped dome that debuted at Burning Flipside, an official Burning Man regional event, as well as attending Burning Man proper out in the desert for the first time.  On the DJ side I played a ton of gigs this year, including my residency at Maeve in San Antonio, my first repeat gig outside of my home city of Austin.  I'm not sure what 2025 will hold, but I'm looking forward to new experiences and new music, as well as some new art projects I have rattling around in my head!

Todd McCormick is a former cancer patient who started using cannabis in 1979 under his mother's supervision while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Todd overcame the cancer and went on to become a lifetime advocate for medical cannabis. In 1984, Todd started cultivating cannabis and has never stopped. Starting in 1994, Todd worked with Jack Herer as an editor of The Emperor Wears No Clothes and after Jack’s passing, he released the 12th edition of the book with memorials to Jack. Local Underground RDG is pleased to share this mix from techno-philosopher Hypatia. Recorded live from Savage Sirens Productions Easton House Party in March of 2024, the set features 12 blistering tracks from Hypatia's deep crate. Pembroke provides the bones, offering six combined tracks from Karia Records and the Pembroke imprint, while the mix is fleshed out with classic tracks from Hypatia's progressive roots.

Precisely mixing deep grooves and dark percussion, Hypatia invites you inside for an intimate look at the sacred spaces that inspire her signature sound.  As to be expected from Hypatia, the resulting mix offers a seamless blend of progressive dance music in historical perspective.

The true spirit of the original global underground series was to paint a retrospective picture of a destination’s dance music culture. In this sense, Hypatia captures the essence of Easton’s small but thriving party scene. There is hardly a more welcoming small town in Pennsylvania for a DJ to grace than Easton. With a such diverse crowd, the eagerness to dance is their common bond. Hypatia uses this vibrant pallet to paint a portrait of Easton’s dancefloor culture with a recreation of her legendary closing set for the Easton House Party from March, 23 2024.

This was ground zero for the debut of her groundbreaking harmonic progressive house EP, “Pembroke - Wishing Star” which was released May 17, 2024. The theme for the rave was centered around 90s house music. Hypatia’s masterful selection included some of the titanic tracks that closed out the nineties, just as she closed the party. With the fringes and tassels of progressive house’s halcyon days, she wove in her new vision for the future of prog and the rise of Pembroke.

Trance is my passion, my love was forged from Saturday's spent at The Republic in Sheffield for Gatecrasher, listening to Paul Van Dyk, Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, Tiesto et al. My mixes are curated with a analytical method, taking into account harmonies, energy and above all what I think the crowd would enjoy.

I started in 1998 with two Stanton Str8-80 turntables and have enjoyed watching the entire scene change over the years. I've played on various Pioneer setups for upwards of 500 people, varying between clubs, bars, events and house parties.

If you need an opener/fill-in within the coastal USA, please feel free to contact me. Would consider relocating for another resident position.

Arterapsy isn’t your typical DJ.
Before he stepped into the underground electronic scene, he was performing as a violist with world class orchestras like the LSO and has contributed to major motion pictures productions, including Wonder Woman,, Mission: Impossible -Rogue Nation and The Equalizer 3.

But despite all these achievements his passion lies in electronic music and goes back more than 20 years.
Recently, in March 2025, he made his London debut. It was a carefully curated showcase that introduced the capital to his distinctive sound: hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional.
By May , he was headlining a Brixton event, drawing in a crowd that came to lose themselves in his music - and they did.

I post a monthly mix show on SoundCloud that focuses on melodic and progressive house. ZZGO Radio celebrated its five year anniversary in September 2024!
