For 100 CLUB Episode 7 CHUG2000))) collects music from my techno honeymoon period, bought in Tokyo between 1998-2003. Following the lead of Rhythm and Sound and the Hardwax family of artists, German labels like Mille Plateau, Scape and Kompakt merged dub with slow motion techno, dark ambient, screwed hip hop and glitch-adorned minimal. The result is a wonderful weird world of scratchy chuggers that still sounds unusual and fresh, as well as anticipating hauntology and vaporwave, in a dark but playful manner. 

This mix is mostly from these records with a few contemporaneous wrongspeeders for good measure.
