Mikel's journey into the world of house music began in 1995 when he first experienced Josh Wink's 'Don't Laugh' at a party in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario. This pivotal moment ignited a passion that would shape his future career.
Since 2001, Mikel has been crafting his unique sound, releasing tracks on some of the industry's most respected labels, including Toolroom Records, Nervous Records, Ultra Records, Griffintown, Stereo Productions, Existence Records and Fade Records. His production style seamlessly blends elements of house and techno, creating infectious grooves that captivate dance floors worldwide.
Curcio's talent extends beyond the studio, as he's held residencies at world-renowned festivals and nightclubs. His dynamic sets have graced the decks at the BPM Festival, Circa Night Club in Toronto, Circus Nightclub in Montreal, and Nectar in Cancun, among others. His international appeal has taken him across Canada, the Americas, and Europe, where he continues to leave his mark on the global electronic music landscape.
Up & Coming releases like "Imagine," "Weightless," and "Somewhere New" showcase Mikel's evolving sound and commitment to pushing boundaries within the genre.
