Dieses Lied hat eine wahre Geschichte.
In der Nachbarwohnung (direkt hinter meiner Wand) ist ein Mann gestorben. Er lag dort zwei Monate lang und verwest, und wir schrieben den schrecklichen Geruch seinem morbiden Lebensstil zu. Er war kein guter Mensch und eher ein Parasit für das ganze Haus.
Zusammen mit der Polizei haben wir die Tür aufgebrochen. Ich war Zeuge und habe alles bestätigt, was ich gesehen habe, aber es gab eine Nuance: Der Polizist konnte nicht dort sein, und ich war allein mit der Leiche. Das ist meine 6 oder 7 Leiche in 23 Lebensjahren. Das macht Angst und bringt einen dazu, über das Leben nachzudenken, über Zeit und Prioritäten.
In dem Lied habe ich alles ein wenig beschönigt, um die Einsamkeit auszudrücken, denn Sie hätten sicherlich kein Mitgefühl für den Menschen empfunden, der dort gestorben ist. Es enthält mehr Fakten und das, was ich gesehen habe, als ich die Leiche untersuchte.
Dieses Lied ist nicht für jedermann geeignet und ist nur meine Art, Gedanken über verpasste Chancen, Einsamkeit und Zeit, die nicht mehr zurückgebracht werden kann, festzuhalten.
