Vanessa Sukowski - Time to Rave #7 (Sputnik Springbreak Edition - Live @ Radio MDR Sputnik)

This is a liveset from Aug 5 2021. It is imperfect technically which is explained by the fact that I'm a DJ:ing rookie. I think it might be enjoyable for some people anyway. 

After a day of jumping at the memorial skydiving event Ragnarök at Skydive Aros in Sweden, I put up this set, in the smoke of the BBQ where our dinner was getting cooked.

It is dedicated to lost friends and fellow skydivers from the aircraft accident in Örebro earlier in the summer.

The liveset finishes at 01h28m. After that is a mixtape by another artist that I put on to entertain the people at the party.

A*S*Y*S - Bio:

A*S*Y*S aka Frank Ellrich has been a frequent player on the global scene since 2000. His revolutionary studio productions, ranging from dark acid odysseys to driving hard funky floor fillers continue to set dance floors ablaze the world over! He has also performed at some of the most prolific music festivals and events in the world. From Time Warp to Mysteryland, and EDC to Tomorrowland, he has covered more than 20 countries across five continents. His music shares a vision for the techno progressive, and harder genres, which is equal parts euphoric and energetic whilst laced with his signature pounding groove and acid undertones. His music has influenced entire genres through his career at Tracid Traxxx and his own label “Fe Records”.
While he has sought innovation throughout his career, he always stayed true to his passion which is the ultimate dynamic energy combined with the one element that makes the difference: acid has been the soul of A*S*Y*S until today. In Summer 2018, Frank founded his sublabel Fe Chrome with a clear vision on how to enrich and inspire the techno scene. The 4th release (A*S*Y*S - The Acid) already climbed to #1 of the Beatport Techno Top 100 charts (overall charts #3) and held its position for 6 weeks.
Within one year only, Fe Chrome has become no. 7 of the best selling techno labels (Beatstats) and is grateful for huge support from Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, UMEK, Veerus and Perc to name a few. Recently signed with the London based SOM Records Ltd for my 2020 Progressive House track "Mavka", I have embarked on my musical voyage as a youngster, growing up listening to a variety of genres that have played an influential role in shaping my signature sound.

I have a DJ background back in the 90s at the beginning of pirate radio stations. Born in Brussels (Belgium), my musical roots are New Beat, Techno and Trance. With time, curiosity and from living in different places such as South Africa, Gibraltar as well as the South of Spain, I have extended my musical interest to a wider list of genres. I have also been mixing for several bars and small clubs everywhere life took me.

Projects I am nowadays involved with:
I joined an association in Luxembourg, www.beyondmusic.lu, trying to promote local DJs and organising parties with DJ sets that are video recorded and promoted on social media.
