I made "No Time, No Beats" in 2008, but didn't release it until 2020. Why? It is kind of the link between two phases of my production work. In 2008, I realized that the increasingly digital sounding Drum'n'Bass at the time no longer evoked the same enthusiastic feelings as the sound of the late '90s to 2000. I started a years-long period of self-discovery in the world of sound, immersing myself more and more in the analog world, and finally finished “No Time, No Beats” 10 to 11 years later.
The release was cut for vinyl by Beau Thomas.

SALUT À TOUS ! Une fois n'est pas coutume, le flow state a de nouveau été atteint... Il faut dire que cette dernière semaine a été... Disons... Riche en émotions ?... (pas que, si vous voyez ce que je veux dire enfin bref c'est un autre sujet) Eh ouais, pas de darons à la casba pendant 1 fucking semaine, que demander de plus... C'est à cette occasion que j'ai réalisé ce mix, dans la nuit du jeudi 30 au vendredi 31 juillet... Eh non, c'est pas mon mix de la Matioparty Vol. II (j'ai oublié de le rec mdr). Enfin c'est même pas grave, lui est BIEN MIEUX. Et je ne l'ai pas fait tout seul dans ma chambre comme le vieux clampin que je suis, autant vous dire que j'étais en très bonne compagnie, avec de véritables kiffeurs de bon gros son. Et le tire ainsi que la cover ? C'est qu'on s'est juste fait un bon barbecue, cuisiné par mes soins. Pas mal non ? Rien qu'en re-regardant la photo j'ai encore faim.

J'y ai fait le tour de pas moins de 3 whole fucking genres de musique électronique (voire 4 mais bon comme c'est que 1 voire deux sons ça compte pas), autant vous dire que vous êtes des gros bébés cadum si vous y trouvez pas votre compte quoi. Surtout que putain, d'habitude j'ai un peu de mal à me satisfaire de mon travail, alors là j'ai franchement rien à redire... Quoique, il y a bien des microdécalages parfois mais ça arrive que 2 ou 3 fois, et il y a un moment ou j'ai lancé une musique qui allait PAS DU TOUT avec le reste que j'ai bien vite retirée mdr enfin bref, que de la régalouz. J'me suis même permis d'ajouter un p'tit vinyle, parce que pourquoi pas finalement j'ai pas raison la team ? Et puis bon, 2 fucking heures de mix on va pas chipoter merde.

D'ailleurs si j'y réfléchis bien, ce mix est quand même très lié à bises:)... Et en vrai, c'est plus ou moins le même contexte... Que ce soit à propos du monde présent, ou d'autres choses que je tairai mais que je mentionne quand même pour garder un effet dramatique. De toute façon c'est mon mix et et ma description je fais ce que je veux. Et toc. À bon entendeur...

Enfin, énorme dédicace aux sangs présents cette soirée là, dans l'ordre Nathan, Faustine, Léon et Artus, direct dans les coulisses. Et dédicace aussi à ceux qui étaient présents à la soirée du lendemain, ça fait trop de noms à citer (je tairai le nombre de personnes présentes car sinon je suis foutu) mais ça m'a vraiment régalé 🫶🏻 (même si je vous ai pas vraiment beaucoup vus pour des raisons évidentes également lolllllllllll)

Velocity (Human Elements / Liquid V / Jazzsticks) 

Velocity is Drum&Bass DJ & Producer based in Tokyo, Japan.  In Feb 2003, Velocity established "7NiNE Productions" (composition of DJ, Designer and VJ) to showcase his skills as a DJ. In the same year 7NiNE Production started the Neo Tokyo Drum & Bass party "ZERO", and he played as a resident DJ at WOMB (Tokyo). In 2005, Velocity took part and created sound effects for the legendary VJ software "Motion Dive Tokyo". In 2008, he entered and won the 2nd place on C.N.S(CDJ New Style) battle competition organized by Pioneer, where he laid-down and wowed the judges with his technical mixing styles and proved his skills to the world. and his tunes have been gaining major support from big names such as; Commix, Marky, Bailey, Bryan G, Random Movement, Makoto, A-Sides. and BBC 1 DJ Friction has also recently been playing his tunes. Velocity has released his tune "Velocity & Key MC - Ladder" on compilation album "Something We Can Do" from HE:Digital, which got to No.1 in the iTunes Store Electronic genre chart in Japan and managed to enter the top 20 in the Beatport single chart. In 2011, "Light In Nightmare" will be released on UK Drum & Bass label W10 Records, and also Velocity's first EP (Concentration EP) is forthcoming on HE:Digital due for release 2011. in 2014 finally Velocity’s UK debut at innerSoul @ Plan B. 
last years see the release of his vinyl debut “Malaky & Velocity - Midnight” on Fizzybeats. 
in 2016 Velocity - Jelly Break reached #1 on Juno Records Vinyl Sales chart. so his new release is “Night Owl EP” from Makoto’s imprint “Human Elements”. and “Satl & Velocity - Set It Out” (Fokuz Recordings) selected by Drum&BassArena 2017 compilation.
legendary MC Fats & Velocity released “Hide & Seek” & “We Gotcha Junglist” on Bryan Gee’s Liquid V that placed Top 5 in Beatport chart. and called “Untitled Roller” & “Paul SG - Cosmic Jam (Velocity Remix) released on Paul SG’s Jazzsticks. And long time awaited his music gonna release on home Human Elements soon.
