A bass shootout. I found a setting on my dp3x that works a lot better in a mix than the one I used for the October 2020 bass shootout. And I included a couple more basses. 
I did turn down the treble knob a bit for some of the really bright, ringy sounding basses like the EBMM Bongo and the Parker Fly. 
All basses were recorded direct through my Tech 21 dp3x, going into a Presonus M80 preamp. 
In order, basses hear are:
1.) 1978 Rickenbacker 4001
2.) 2016 Rickenbacker 4003SW
3.) Hamer Cruise bass, neck pickup (Seymour Duncan Basslines)
4.) Hamer Cruise bass, bridge pickup (Seymour Duncan Basslines)
5.) Jackson Concert EX
6.) EBMM Bongo, both pickups
7.) EBMM Bongo, neck pickup
8.)Parker Fly, bridge pickup
9.)Parker Fly, neck pickup

90% finished pre pro track of my next single entitled "Titan"! Once Luke's foot is better we are going to track real drums for it and Taylor Larson(Periphery: Periphery 2, Veil of Maya: Matriarch, From First to Last: Dead Trees) is going to be mixing the jam so it can have the utmost awesomeness! Cant wait for you all to hear the finished product but I've had this song for a bit now and I'm getting impatient hahaha

Titan Draft 6 (pre-pro)

This is a guitar cover I did of Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years" from 1986's "Somewhere In Time." I used a full backing track I got online and replaced all the guitar tracks with mine.

I used my '96 Peavey Wolfgang Standard for all the "Adrian Smith" tracks and my '92 EVH Ernie Ball Music Man for the "Dave Murray" parts.  

Used Guitar Rig 5 for the tones and recorded and mixed with Logic Pro X.

Since 2019, Rob  has been devoting all his music time to writing and recording progressive rock. Fewer songs but fancier compositions and playing.
