Eli Iwasa is a DJ, artist, and entrepreneur whose vast musical repertoire, refined sensibility, and intuitive connection with audiences have made her a luminous force in electronic music for over 20 years. Moving dance floors across galaxies, she blends technique with deep musical research, never abandoning her roots—such as her years leading the legendary Technova party at Lov.e Club in Brazil. Among so many versions of Eli Iwasa, she as the lead singer of the Bleeping Sauce project, and of the track “What You Gonna Do”, is one of the good secrets that deserve to be discovered - and rediscovered. With a strong influence of 80s synthpop, from Yazoo to Yello, Depeche Mode and all the sounds of Daniel Miller's Mute Records, What You Gonna Do received an expected rework focused on the dance floor - energetic but without losing the original influences present in the version signed by Eli herself and Mau Maioli.
Capetini brought his stripped down version, in which the maximalist elements of the original give way to a deep and intimate atmosphere with a strong garage influence - a true invitation to a hypnotic journey through his music.

The metaphor of life as a journey is deeply embedded in most cultures. But it’s
particularly apt for Joyce Muniz. Born in Brazil, she moved to Vienna in her teens and now
splits her time between there, where she has her studio and a show on national radio station
FM4, and Berlin. She started her career as a DJ and MC at Vienna’s Flex club, then found
fame as a vocalist, touring alongside Major Lazer, before dedicating herself to
production, supported by labels such as Exploited, Get Physical, Kompakt, Permanent
Vacation, International DJ Gigolo and Pets. Most recently, she took her music on theroad,
performing live with different orchestras across Germany as part of the Synth
Live project, the first woman to join them. All this is alongside continual DJing,
recently touring Australia to tick off playing every continent – bar the
less-than-club-friendly Antarctica.
In 2023, her second album ‘Zeitkapsel’, German for time capsule, retraced many of the steps
she’s taken, while also launching her Joyce Muniz Music imprint. ‘Never Brushing
The Sound’, featuring British MC Le3 bLACK. echoed the trip-hop and downtempo
that surrounded her in late ‘90s Vienna. The d&b of ‘Bangalore Girl’, supported by DJ
Marky, recalled the music she first MCed over. And ‘Imagine’, fronted by iconic
vocalist Roland Clark, reflected the deep love of house that inspired her to make
music. The biggest hit, however, was ‘Arrivederci Bella’. A jacking love letter to
electro house, but also a break-up track, it featured Muniz rapping in Portuguese, the
first time she’d used her own voice since her baile-funk-inspired outings in the mid
2000s.
The album’s cover, part surrealist painting, part visionary experience, reflects an
accompanying spiritual path. Diagnosed with cancer in her early 30s, Joyce returned
to Brazil and her experiences with plant medicines reconnected her to her
grandfather’s shamanism. This rebirth reconfigured her attitude to creativity and life.
When Covid hit she explored the breadth of her music making – resulting in
‘Zeitkapsel’ - and sharpened the technical skills that make her a go-to workshop host
for Native Instruments. She also completed a Bachelor's Degree in radio presenting.
These avenues mean Joyce can roam where she chooses. Remixing Chicks On
Speed and collaborating with the UK’s Detachments, she’s re-exploring the electro
roots that brought her to the attention of DJ Hell many years ago, now a mentor. But
with the on-going support of Âme, Dixon, Claptone and Green Velvet and more, as
well as thousands of Shazams each week, she continues to explore sounds,
collaborating with artists across the world.
Last year, Joyce Muniz released the infectious single ’No Haters’ on Permanent Vacation
with fellow Brazilian Producer Renato Cohen. This was followed by the huge ‘Beats & Lines’,
with Sara Bluma on Kompakt (Joyce Muniz’s debut Kompakt release), which spent several
weeks at No.1 in Beatport’s Indie Dance Chart and was supported internationally by many
major DJs.
Joyce Muniz will release the Afro electro single ‘Mo Dupe' on Exploited in April 2025. She
will return to Kompakt in June 2025.
Alongside weekly gigs in Europe and frequent visits to America, Joyce often returns
to play Brazil. This was rewarded with the cover feature of her proud nation's
Mixmag. Winning new fans each visit to her birth country of over 200 million, there’sno doubt
she has plenty more road to travel.

Electronic music is in our DNA, and we cover the full musical spectrum ranging from disco to house, from intelligent dance music to techno, and everything in between. At DGTL, we differentiate with balanced programming. By giving talent a platform, we can develop our own headliners and form long-lasting relationships with artists from early on.

DGTL builds bridges between music styles and genres, aiming to blend different audiences and cultures. Music and Mau Maioli. This was already something that the universe was preparing, it was just not known exactly when it would happen. The origin can be considered when he was introduced to bands and projects such as Joy Division, Nirvana, Tears For Fears, Chic and LCD Soundsystem, but his closest connection to the music happened because of his piano lessons, where each key played directed him towards a career, which started in 2011, when he was only 14 years old.

His first achievement, however small, was a residency at the old Matinê Sunset, in Caxias do Sul. Later, Muinho Club embraced and made him a DJ resident, position that he held since 2014. The experience resulted in contracts, which brought him friendships, like Cris d., artist who he created Beat On Me with, also who has taught him how to mix when he was beginning. Mau started to create a true bond with people from Rio Grande do Sul and this was noticed by Levels, one of the biggest independent parties in southern Brazil. Resulting in another DJ residence.

As a music producer, he started his experiments in 2014, but the turning point was in 2017, with his first release on the renowned Prisma Techno, reaching Top #56 on Beatport Techno chart with “Parallax”. The following year, “Fox", produced in collab with Cris d. and released on Dalzochio Music, it reached Top #1 on Beatport Deep House chart, even getting a 7" vinyl.

Without a defined style so far, Mau was taking root as a Techno producer, but he was invited to reflect on whether this was really the path he should take. Gradually he was taken to the past and started drinking from sources from the 70s, 80s and 90s, evolving in music production and approaching what we know today as Indie Dance. This sound shift came to the fore in 2020 with some great releases, such as the single “Headway”, once again on Prisma Techno, “Showtime” EP on the German label Young Society Records,  “90’s Bright” on the renowned Warung Recordings and “Scream Maker” on Prototype Music, getting a remix of a Brazilian icon and one of his great references: Renato Cohen.

His self-taught profile and his affection for the artistic field led him to create About Different Levels Podcast, a music chat with several artists from Brazil that now has more than 10 episodes. Mau is also involved in the creation of Levels Records alongside the party's founders and, gradually, has been coloring his world in orange, a color that represents vitality, joy and creativity, characteristics present in his sound identity.
