"Palimpsest" is a sonic exploration of layered memory and time, where techno serves as the auditory embodiment of a manuscript written and rewritten over itself. The track unfolds as a complex soundscape, with rhythms and melodies emerging from beneath, like echoes of a past that has been partially erased but never fully forgotten. Each sound is fragmented, split, and filtered into varying opacities, creating an immersive experience where traces of what once was remain embedded within the present.

As the track progresses, new elements surface, but they never entirely obscure the old; instead, they coexist, blending into a rich, textured whole. The layers of sound evoke a sense of distant, subconscious memories—half-remembered emotions and experiences that rise and fall within the flow of the music. "Palimpsest" invites listeners to reflect on how the past continually shapes the present, offering a meditative space where history, memory, and sound intermingle in a perpetual state of transformation.

Through PsyTribe, Barakuda has organized countless events, introducing numerous artists to the West Coast and sharing the stage with many others.

With an unparalleled dedication to the trance community, Barakuda's versatility shines through in his ability to infuse energy into the dance floor and sustain it throughout his sets, regardless of the music style or time of day.
