Lúcifer, na tradição judaico-cristã, é um anjo belíssimo e poderoso que se rebelou contra Deus por orgulho, desejando um trono acima do Criador.

Foi expulso do céu com os anjos que o seguiram e passou a ser conhecido como Satanás, o adversário e príncipe das trevas. A origem do nome vem do latim lux (luz) e ferre (levar), significando "portador da luz" ou "estrela da manhã", e as histórias de sua queda são relatadas nos livros de Ezequiel e Isaías.

Lúcifer era um anjo de grande beleza, sabedoria e poder, possivelmente um querubim, considerado o mais belo e importante anjo criado por Deus.

O anjo se deixou levar pelo orgulho e, com o desejo de exaltar o seu trono acima das estrelas de Deus, incitou uma rebelião contra o Criador.

Após a derrota na batalha celestial, Lúcifer e um terço dos anjos que o apoiaram foram lançados à Terra, marcando o início do pecado no mundo e sua transformação em Satanás.

[en] “Play My Birthday” is my birthday party in musical form.
I invited artists who have been part of my journey in psytrance to create tracks that would be my gifts: each one carries a piece of history, affection, and shared trajectory.

This V.A. is an affectionate record, an encounter of worlds that have crossed paths in my sound and in my personal life. There are people who have been with me since the beginning and artists who came later to expand, add to, and open new eras alongside me. If my birthday party were music, this would be the sound of "Happy Birthday," and that was the intention of the album: to unite the beginning, the middle, and today in a single story.

“Play My Birthday” doesn't just celebrate my birthday. It marks a turning point, a rebirth, a new phase of my project and my life. And, like any good surprise party, this V.A. arrives with that feeling of:
“nobody was expecting this… and that's what makes it so enjoyable.”

Convidei artistas que fazem parte da minha caminhada no psytrance para criarem faixas que seriam os meus presentes: cada uma carrega um pedaço de história, afeto e trajetória compartilhada.

Esse V.A é um registro afetivo, um encontro de mundos que se cruzaram no meu som e na minha vida pessoal. Tem gente que está comigo desde o começo e artistas que chegaram depois para expandir, somar e abrir novas eras ao meu lado. Se a minha festa de aniversário fosse música, este seria o som do parabéns, e essa foi a intenção do álbum: unir o começo, o meio e o hoje em uma história só.

“Play My Birthday” não celebra só meu aniversário. Marca uma virada, um renascimento, uma nova fase do meu projeto e da minha vida. E, como toda boa festa surpresa, esse V.A chega com aquele sentimento de:
“ninguém estava esperando por isso… e é isso que o torna tão gostoso.”

Eighth Gate aka ( Sergio Oliveira) He was born in 1989 in a town called Lagos in the South side of Portugal. He start listening to Psytrace in the year of 2002 And he fell in love with the Fullon Morning style, his great and main inspirations are Electro sun, Bizzare contact, sesto sento, phanatic, alternative control among others. .EIGHTH GATE is a self-taught psychedelic trance producer born from deep inner exploration and cosmic rhythm. Starting at age 16, he weaves hypnotic basslines, tribal textures, and spiritual frequencies into soundscapes that guide the listener beyond this dimension.
With no formal training and fueled only by passion, discipline, and vision, he returns again and again to the music — not as a hobby, but as a calling.
This is more than psytrance. This is energetic transformation through soul and sound.
