How long does it take 4 childhood friends to talk about a seminal movie from their past that oozes cool and danger? Well, we found out back in June when a few of our recurring guests joined to talk about Derek Cianfrance's "The Place Beyond the Pines." Adrian and Edward Salas return along with Henry Crooks to revisit one of the most nostalgic dramas from the 2010's, and discuss the experience of being levitated by the soundtrack and raw interpersonal conflicts. The boys also go head-to-head and debate where this performance ranks in Gosling's career, why act 1 isn't necessarily better than 2 and 3, and whether or not Avery Cross is the villain of the movie.
