Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gidderick Muntz. 

This song EXORCISE M. was also randomly begotten out of an improvisational jam session between original founding members "Judas" on bass, Angela Moore on violin, and Matt "The Wizard" on djembe.

And in this video part of the saga, Gidderick aimlessly runs through the woods in a panic to keep finding himself in even more strange areas deeper throughout the woods he's never seen before. To finally confront what may be a physical demon underneath an old concrete bridge. Or is it all in his head?

Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gidderick Muntz. 

This was intended to represent Gidderick's confused drunken walk through the woods to sort of "confront his demons" so to speak on the way back to his baby momma's house to finish the job.

Intermission

Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gidderick Muntz. 

This song DAY 2 was originally titled that due to the founding members Glen Goss and Angela Moore not being able to remember how an improv jam session had gone the day before which they decided they'd make into a song. The next day, when they went to present the song to The Wizard for potential Theremin noise addition, and they couldn't remember it, Judas played a whole different riff he'd been messing around with but never turned into a song. The other's started improvising over it. And they like it enough to remember it this time. 
In the saga of Gedderick Muntz, the name of this song was utilized to portray Gidderick waking up the next day in his baby moma's house where he doesn't realize he'd returned to the scene of the kidnap to finish off his wife. And is then payed a visit by the local PD. Cameoed in the music video by the members of the band. Which you can see here.

Day 2

Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gidderick Muntz. 

On this the only track on the album with any real lyrics, after 2 verses of what seems to be an instrumental, in THE THIEF we hear Judas' raspy voice scraping over the lap harp from first person perspective. Regaling Gidderick's hasty break into his baby momma's house to kidnap his only child and bring him back home.
Only his intentions are not to love and to nurture the child. But to butcher, bake, and devour him in an almost possessed psychotic stupor.

The Thief

Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gidderick Muntz. 

In this track THE INTRO, we hear a haggard and eccentric Grampa Melvis riling up a group of youngsters gathered around the campfire in preparation for one of his famous scary stories.

The antics continue between Grampa Melvis, his grandson Arnie, and the angry "fat kid" hazing him in the back ground until Grampa Melvis' story finally subdues the children to shut up and listen. As the tale unfolds a local man who went crazy and took the lives of his wife and first born son, rite in their own home town.
