Words can't describe just how grateful I am for the extraordinarily special community of musicians, artists, performers, vendors, culinary experts, engineers and all 'round legends that came together for to co-create an unforgettable New Years at The Kibbutz. Each time I visit the Art Valley Land, I'm blown away by how much fun and flow I see and experience. I'm honored to be a part of this extended festival family. Thank you all for your authenticity, kindness and presence. 

The Kibbutz featured some of the most high vibe moments I've had the pleasure of experiencing at a festival. It also served up another profoundly humbling yet insightful psychedelic journey.

To say I'm chuffed to get to be a part of this great unfolding is an understatement. I'm so glad to be here.

It takes a lot of strength and courage to tame your mind and teach it to realize and accept the things that are out of your control.

Your mind wants you to believe some of these unrealistic fantasies to provide for a false state of comfort, or a desire to see only the good in something without acknowledging the bad. 

This track takes you on that very journey, and makes you experience the battle between illusion and reality.

Bio:
Brian Schatzel, Adastra, is a Seattle-based music producer and DJ, known for blending melodic-focused EDM with pop sensibility, both in the studio and with his dynamic, high energy DJ sets. With residencies at multiple Seattle nightclubs over the past five years, he has garnered experience adding his flexible style to a variety of genres.

When it comes to music production, Adastra, who's name comes from the Latin translation of "to the stars”, often focuses his sound around a sense of sci-fi euphoria. Exploring everything from future bass, trap, melodic dubstep, and even trance, his original music has earned features and releases on several music collectives/labels, blogs, and YouTube channels. The past couple years have seen his first official remix for Monstercat artist, Disero, and multiple releases on Seattle powerhouse label, Simplify Recordings. Most recently, his Apollo EP has received the attention and support of artists such as Tokyo Machine, Adventure Club, Caslow, and Brainheart.

Arriving onto the scene with a fresh take on live electronic music, Jason Leech is quick to catch your attention. With a range of influences from Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to Flume and RL Grime, his eclectic sound brings something new to the table. Having opened for artists as big as Griz, Galantis, and Big Gigantic, he has made headway in the EDM scene with his funky jamtronica feel and undertones of bass. Since his debut EDM keyboard set in 2017 for Brownies and Lemonade, Jason has been featured on various festival lineups such as Asteria, Interstellar, and Lost Lands as well as recently collaborating with CloZee, Luzcid, and Zeds Dead.
