New Jack Swing is the first music I really started listening to and collecting.  I don't really remember songs from the 80's because I was born in '82, but I remember all of my schoolmates liked New Kids on the Block, and I hated bullshit bubble gum pop like that.  It wasn't until around 1990 that I really started paying attention to the radio.  The stations I remember at the time were Hot 97.7, 106.1 KMEL, and Wild 107.7 (Now Wild 94.9).  I would spend all day listening to those stations and recording the songs on tape, or watching MTV and recording the videos on my VCR.  I'll never forget when I got a CD player for my 10th birthday.  I worked odd jobs cleaning up yards and so forth so I could save up money to buy my first CDs, which ended up being Michael Jackson's "Dangerous", Mariah Carey's self titled first album, Janet Jackson's self titled album, TLC's "Ooooooh on the TLC Tip", Boyz II Men's "Cooleyhighharmony", and Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison".  I listened to those CDs non stop (especially MJ) and drove my parents insane.  If you listen to most of my mixes, you can detect a bit of soul in almost every one.  It's because my roots as a music lover comes from music like this.

It seems like I have been deejaying my entire life. Oh well!! I have been a professional deejay for the past 14 years and still going strong. Born and raised in nairobi, kenya; but now I reside in oklahoma city oklahoma. As I can remember music and sounds have been part of my life and has impacted it enormously. Deejaying is my passion, I dream, eat and dwell in music. The High I get when I do mix two different songs with no single thread of any relationship & ultimately the final product is a smooth unision sound, is such an awesome feeling. Bio:
Nebakaneza is a music lover’s DJ, and a true collector of many genres of music. 

When he was old enough to get a job, he started working at various record stores, but most of his earnings went right back into buying music. He studied radio broadcasting and became the music director for his college radio station, and won an award for broadcaster of the year. By the mid 2000’s, he started DJing in bars and clubs and working at Clear Channel radio, with a small internship at Om Records. He eventually landed his own late night electronica show on the commercial radio station KKSF, acting as both music director and host. He started a weekly event in San Francisco with his business partner Johnny 5, called Ritual, which lasted for 3 years and at one point was the largest reoccurring Dubstep event on the West Coast. They eventually expanded into Los Angeles and other clubs in San Francisco. Later, he became a music director for another commercial radio station, Live 105, for their late night dubstep program, Wobble Wednesday. He was on the cover of the SF Bay Guardian newspaper and won their annual Goldie award in 2014, and in 2015 he created a new alias Danny Delorean, and joined the Turbo Drive crew, which is the longest running, and largest monthly Synthwave event in the world.  In 2019 he brought the Nebakaneza character back spinning primarily Midtempo Bass, and Electro Techno, among other face smashing beats.


The name comes from King Nebuchadnezzar II who was an evil ruler of ancient Babylon, and who built the Hanging Gardens. Eventually he was exiled and spent 7 years in the wilderness wandering the land like a beast. There are many rumors about the mask, no one knows the truth.
