When I first heard the original version of Hot Pink track, its melody deeply hooked me.  The track with its atmosphere reminded me of shots from the third season of the TV series Twin Peaks, when at the end of some episodes the characters are sitting in a bar while a local band is playing on the scene. The idea of remixes came about because I just wanted to listen to more interpretations of this simple but catchy melody.

Cacao Beach is a surreal synth sound that is a trippy and wonky mix of intoxicating electronica, techno, and newbeat music. One of the standout tracks on this release is ""Cacao Beach"". It's a driving and tantalizing bass tune with a melody stuck in your head that won't leave you indifferent. The remix by our resident Moonoton adds even more drive and makes it a club new beat hit.

If you want to go on a high-energy night journey, the track ""Flight In The Night"" is perfect for that. The remix by Yakovets makes this track even more hypnotic as if you were in Gaspar Noé's films.

And the closing track ""Silver Pan"" is a real techno-thriller that will keep you in your seat. The bass line of this track just grabs you and doesn't let you go until the end."

We present a new artist at our label!

KIKOK @kikok_audio is the solo project of Pasha Fedoseev (ex-Gnoomes). Under this alias, he creates inventive and melodic electronic music inspired by the best of IDM, shoegaze, and kraut scenes.

He was a resident artist on the Magnetron Music (NL) label, founded by Fatima Yamaha. His second album, SAUNA, released in early 2019, received critical acclaim from publications like UNCUT (UK), The Quietus (UK), XLR8R (US), and GROOVE (DE). It was named Album of the Month in DJ Mag (UK), and the lead single Ekta I was featured in Big Tunes (Mixmag, UK) alongside artists like Orbital, Red Axes, and Peggy Gou.

With numerous live performances under his belt, including a small tour and appearances at Dutch Design Week, TESTFM, and Red Light Radio.

KIKOK is set to release a new album on April 25th, with the first single Lovely Grinch.
