As a gag, I posted a joke earlier today on Twitter about how you should be preparing for old age given that Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" is now 20 years old. Then it hit me: I should cover that song. So I did. 

To clarify, I am NOT this good at piano. A lot of editing had to be done. The rest was all sequenced according to the original (drums, orchestra, synth) and bass & guitar were played by me. My first attempt at singing a song made famous by a female voice.

Hola! Soy Emilio un músico de San Fernando, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Arg. Soy guitarrista, bajista y cantante, la música es una de mis grandes pasiones y me encanta el desafío de componer canciones que puedan gustarle a los demás.
Hay dos grandes influencias en mi música: Los Beatles y el rock alternativo de los 80 y 90s. En Sin Pensarlo Dos Veces inconscientemente se puede escuchar esa mixtura en estribillos con melodías pop pegadizas sumadas a capas de guitarras distorsionadas y sintetizadores armonizando. También me gusta mucho el rock Nacional, bandas como Soda Stereo, Charly García y los Redondos son grandes influencias para mí. Lo mismo con artistas actuales argentinos como Marilina Bertoldi, Dillom, Nathy Peluso, Ca7riel, Ysy A, entre otros.

Established as a singer-songwriter under his name in late-June 2017, Amil Baymashkin is an up-and-comer in the music scene worth taking notice.

He is a self-taught songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, performer, and music producer. Having self-written and self-produced 38 songs as of July 2022 (including an album titled "2020"), he is quickly becoming a prolific musical artist. With no degree in musical composition, nor music production, his basement-recorded music using $15 earphones is starting to level up to the professional hit writers and recording artists of the billboard charts. In addition to being catchy, melodic, and creative, each song has its own story to tell, and the atmosphere created by his sounds and performance brings that story to life in a way not done before. Whether it's a sad or happy one, you feel that in his music.

Comparing his first naive year of 2017 to present 2022 is like night and day now. With his constant strive for greatness in what he is passionate about, it is clear that it's only a matter of time before you hear one his songs on your favorite radio station.
