Originally from the UK, James Sambell–known professionally as D!SCORD–moves back and forth between Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Canada. Depending on the event and its conditions, D!SCORD indulges the Bass Music scene, with a secondary focus on House Music and a tertiary focus on (Melodic) Techno, Deep Tech, and Electronica. The artist yearns to enrich the human experience through sound and space with performances contrasted and illuminated through what the artist labels "emotional diversity," involving a multiplex system of feeling based on varying subgenres melding to engender a gradually shifting but tenacious atmosphere. His performances become enriched by inspirations adapted through interactions with individuals, activities, technology, and experiences that ensure distinction in every set.
	D!SCORD has played at countless official and unofficial shows in Ontario, Whistler, and Vancouver, as well as on Vancouver Island. He is grateful to have shared stages with rising artists Nokturnal Funk and Ketafere, and Shambhala alumni, Aspen King and Kermode. And he continues to seek opportunities to connect with, share, and shape experiences with other like-minded artists. 
	D!SCORD has released two guest mixes on the @threerecordsuk label and is working toward guest mixes on @wildlife_division and other labels suited to the direction in which he seeks to progress his brand. Slowly delving into production, the artist plans to graduate from The University of Victoria before participating in formal music education to expand his musical perspectives and gain traction within his career pathway.  
	Holistically, D!SCORD seeks continual expansion of his
network within which he seeks to foster positive, mutually beneficial relationships built on integrity and respect. He constantly searches for new opportunities to perform while involving and sharing experiences with his following and pursuing the maintenance and further development of a safe, inclusive, and vibrant musical space. 👀👽🖤
