Ecstatic dance is a liberating movement practice set to carefully curated music, aimed at fostering healing and self-expression. It invites participants to let go of inhibitions and embrace spontaneous movement without judgment or prescribed steps. It follows a wave-like structure, starting slow, building to a peak, and then settling into stillness.

This practice is inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds and experience levels. It offers a space free from observers, conversations, and societal pressures like alcohol or shoes. Participants are encouraged to explore their inner and outer selves, fostering a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Ecstatic dance serves as a form of moving meditation, allowing individuals to be fully present and authentic. It promotes healing by releasing stuck patterns in the body, emotions, and mind. Moreover, it cultivates a sense of community and acceptance, empowering individuals to express themselves freely.

Ultimately, the experience of ecstatic dance is personal and varied, offering each participant the opportunity to connect with themselves, others, and spirit in a safe and nourishing environment.

After developing a Vocal Cord Disorder I thought that my dreams of singing professionally was over. Singing just one song would strain my voice to point of uncomfortable and sometimes unbearable pain. Thanks to the wonder of recording technology I realized that I could still write and even sing my own songs with overdub techniques that would allow me to rest my voice when needed to the point of finishing a song. I don't have a plan yet on how I can perform live with this condition (although I have some ideas) but for now I can continue the dream of singing and writing so I can share it with you.

Influenced by the 80's, nostalgia, John Carpenter, Depeche Mode, Stranger Things, Synth Pop, Synth Wave, David Bowie, NIN, and "the stuff dreams are made of".

Singer-songwriter that sounds like if a blues bar and an indie festival had a secret poetic hideaway.

Caitlin Mahoney is an independent singer-songwriter whose voice has been praised as “powerful and soulful - a mix of Adele and Fiona Apple.” After a decade of making and releasing music in NYC, Caitlin headed west for a while to Los Angeles for a change of scenery to seek out some fresh inspiration. The result is her 3rd full-length album “Name What I Need” - a mature, hopeful reflection on boundaries, burnout and self-love drenched in synth pop sounds and featuring the warm, dynamic vocals she has become known for across the US and Europe. Caitlin spent a short-but-sweet two years in LA, and she recently chronicled her return to her home state of Florida in a lyric video featuring her song “Forest” — the latest of 5 singles Caitlin has released this year ahead of the new album’s release in 2024. Caitlin and her dog Annie are excited to discover their new home base of Northeast Florida and Atlantic Beach. 

Caitlin’s music projects have always prioritized highlighting and celebrating other creative women in addition to herself, prioritizing femme-led music videos, graphic design, photography, and visual art. The Washington Post premiered a music video for a song from the album called “Burn The Book” which featured personal stories of four women writers in collaboration with the NYC literary community HIP Lit. The video accompanied a social movement called “The Burn The Book Project,” inspiring women to light a match to societal pressures imposed upon them, and to write and share their stories.

Her music has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, ABC Family's The Fosters, the Family Channel in Canada, Daytrotter, and Starbucks stores throughout the United States. Her performance and songs appear in a number of indie short films and the feature film "Women & Sometimes Men" which was featured at the Chelsea Film Festival and the Portland Film Festival. 

Since 2013, Caitlin has played hundreds of shows across the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. 

While living in Brooklyn, Caitlin also created an original children’s music project with Hannah Winkler called The Buttons. The duo released a full-length album of original music for young children and their families called “Good Day, Friends and Neighbors!” Caitlin is passionate about female empowerment as well as education and regularly supports She's the First, Girls Who Code, and Girls Write Now. In 2016, she ran the New York City marathon, raising $2,500 for Project Renewal, a NYC-based organization with the mission to end homelessness.

I like music. Especially, elements of piano, strings, djembe and sax with deep, progressive, funky, techy, groovy and/or tribal beats and bass.  :D

Over the last few years alone, David has achieved tremendous success as a producer, songwriter, composer for TV & FILM. David’s recent accomplishments include landing the theme song for the NBC/Universal podcast, “Murder in the Hollywood Hills” voiced by the legendary Keith Morrison.

David recently worked with Stan Green on his project, “She Was Fireworks,” that was released in the summer of 2023. Stan Green has previously worked on successful albums like Rihanna’s multi-platinum and Billboard #1 album “Anti,” Big Sean’s “Dark Sky Paradise.” David’s songs have been featured in Netflix’s series “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On”, Netflix movies featuring Kevin Hart, the award winning original series “Sacrifice” on the BET + network, the UK show “Love Island”, and the Australian award winning series “Home and Away.”

 
David has written and produced for artists all over the world including – Madonna, James Blunt, and Cole Swindell, co-wrote with Jeff Paris, Amy Winehouse producer Stefan Skarbeck, Tony Maserati, and has collaborated with organizations like Fox, ABC, NBC/Universal, Warner Bros, Universal Music Group, Mirrorball Entertainment, Disney, Sony, Nike, PinkShark, and AMC Records.

Tires screech as a car packed to the ceiling pulls away, urgently longing to get out of California. The passenger seat is empty—a warm glow grows stronger among the hills in the distance. This is the world of “Grounded Satellites”, the triumphant return of Copenhagen based indie rock outfit The Forever Now. The band has come a long way since BIRP.FM referred to Throw it Down as, “an atmospheric sonic palette brought to life”, and Indie Obsessive awarded it a “contender for ‘The Summer Hit of 2017’,” marked by their relocation from Canada to Denmark.

Combining cinematic elements with indie rock, synth-pop, and singer-songwriter music, The Forever Now carve out a filmic experience with each release. Defined by their genre-defying style and relentlessly do-it-yourself approach, The Forever Now have been on critics’ radar from their debut, when, according to TEEZ FM, “they have impacted the music scene with their proper debut single ‘Last Day of the Year’”.

The project has often drawn comparisons to artists such as M83, The Naked And Famous, MGMT, Chvrches, and Oh Wonder. The Revue described their work as: “Incredibly beautiful. It is part cinematic, part cosmic, part operatic, and completely dazzling. The production work is sublime, radiating of the spatial pacing of Anthony Gonzalez’s (M83) work on Oblivion. The song, however, reaches sonic heights that Gonzalez wasn’t able to achieve … Simply spectacular.” With Grounded Satellites, The Forever Now mark a return to form, finally achieving the soaring heights of an explosive indie rock single they always dreamed about.
