Prinze, the founder of Epicure Records, returns with a new EP that once again showcases his mastery of the diverse facets of electronic music, ranging from acid to italo, and encompassing house, trance, and even breakbeat.

Crafted largely during his journey in Guadeloupe, this EP of 6 original tracks captures the essence of the island with every beat.

"Sex Wax" immerses you in a captivating prog house journey, punctuated by intoxicating piano notes. Inspired by the island's waves, this track evokes surfing through its various phases, from the initial paddle to the euphoria of the take-off set against italo sounds.
"High Energy" is a true ode to acid, whisking you away on a rhythmic whirlwind where each moment brings a new surprise, from start to finish.
"Gwadacid," born from a jungle excursion, is an immersion in layers of acid, inviting listeners on a psychedelic journey without the need for altering substances.

To elevate the EP to even greater heights, Prinze enlisted the expertise of three esteemed remixers :

Zaratustra, the Parisian, injects frenetic energy into his rave remix of "Sex Wax", poised to electrify dancefloors until the early hours.
Fausto, the boss of Hypnotic sounds from Sinaloa, delivers a spellbinding rendition of "High Energy," infusing it with a hypnotic allure tailored for discerning club-goers.
Finally, Austher, one of the pillars of the Toulouse Scene, brings his Italo body music touch to "Gwadacid," satisfying fans of the genre and concluding the affair with style.

Spring has arrived with added fervour here at Darkroom Dubs HQ, as Parisien maestro Prinze delivers four jubilant tracks heralding his much-anticipated label debut. His 'We Are Free' EP is a bold clarion call to the dancefloor that gives a mischievous nod to early '90s UK progressive house and the halcyon days of acid and rave culture while fully embracing a defined and distinctively psychedelic sonic vision of the future.

2025 will undoubtedly continue to be an eventful year for Prinze as he duly prepares a fistful of cosmic missives for his own Epicure Records and remix collaborations with Rotten City head honcho Alvaro Cabana and Silicone Soul. Meet Grant AKA Morning Patrol, a selector hailing from Greater Manchester, UK, whose lifelong passion for music traces back to his early days learning guitar. Growing up surrounded by all kinds of sounds, he cut his teeth in rock and metal bands — but electronic music always held a secret pull. After moving to London for a few years, he found himself drawn into the darker corners of the indie dance and dark disco scene.
That fusion — the grit of his rock upbringing and the hypnotic pulse of electronic rhythm — defines his sound. In his sets, Morning Patrol carefully selects tracks during the darkest hours, crafting journeys that keep listeners engaged. He blends deep basslines, luminous synth rhythms, and driving guitar riffs to build an atmospheric, immersive experience. There is plenty of 303 action in this one for those acid lovers.
