French-born, UZ is one of the founding fathers and most forward-thinking innovators of electronic trap music. An influential tastemaker with nearly 200 releases to his name, UZ remains an active voice in trap via his groundbreaking original music and trendsetting label, Quality Goods Records. 

UZ first exploded onto SoundCloud in 2012 via his ‘Trap Shit’ series, which comprises 25 genre-defining trap classics. His 2013 'BallTrap Muzic Vol. 1' compilation featured Trinidad Jame$, Trae tha Truth, Problem and others. In June 2017, UZ released his debut album, ‘Layers,’ which peaked at #24 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. His second album, 'The Rebirth' (2018), included the breakout track “Leave It,” featuring Rome Fortune, plus collaborations with Bok Nero, Nevve and more. In 2020, UZ will release his third artist album, which will explore a new side of his sound, as heard on early singles “Awakening," “Bang Bang” and “Fire.”

As founder and A&R head of Quality Goods Records, UZ is leading the next wave of bass acts. Since launching in April 2016, the label has discovered breakout artists including SAYMYNAME, Oski, Ian Munro, Nitti Gritti and more.
