Awkward Encounterz is a Portuguese(Albufeira) bedroom producer based in Gothenburg who discovered a passion for music early on in life. However, it wasn't until 2017, after moving to Gothenburg Sweden from London in UK at the age of 38, that they began creating their own music. Awkward Encounterz was introduced to local artists while pursuing a new hobby of making music videos, which reignited their love for music production.

"Life is a journey, and sometimes it takes us down unexpected paths. But when we find the things we love along the way, it makes the journey all the more worthwhile."

From there, Awkward Encounterz invested in music equipment and set up a small studio in is  bedroom. As their love for music continued to grow, they began exploring different instruments like acoustic guitar and drums, which quickly became is favorites.

"The pursuit of our passions is what makes life worth living. Keep chasing your dreams, no matter where the road takes you."

Today, Awkward Encounterz has embarked in journey, in  learning  multiple instruments, to be able to create unique samples from is recordings.He initially released music on Soundcloud, but despite not receiving any response for several years, their enthusiasm for music remained unbroken. They continue to upload music to Soundcloud as a way of documenting is evolution as an artist.
