Maurizio Colella talks about his life in the beginning of his career  around the 1990’s as a young aspiring hip hop DJ that fell in love with Techno and American Garage House Music. He played around with music in high school and with growing up in Switzerland he was able to experience the huge DJ talent coming into play gigs in his city. This aspired him to want to make records and DJ in the night clubs helping to shape the EDX brand that would become famous later around the world. Over the past few years, EDX has made a name for himself in the international EDM scene, headlining the world’s finest clubs and festivals to crowds in excess of 60,000 – from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Taipei, all the way to Sydney. The chart topping Switzerland-based DJ/Producer has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Axwell, Benny Benassi, Kelis, Deadmau5, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Kool & The Gang, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Dubfire and many others. His remixes have been consistently featured on various DJ charts such as the DMC Buzz, Cool Cuts and Beatport and was even ranked in the TOP 3 of Beatport’s Best Progressive House Artist alongside Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. His involvement in the music industry began at an early age, but it is his consistent work that has made EDX an exemplary success story. He launched his weekly radio show ‘No Xcuses’ on SIRIUS XM’s Electric Area Channel and spent summer 2011 holding a residency at the world’s number one nightclub – Space, Ibiza. EDX has continued his success into 2012 with the release of his debut album, ‘On The Edge’. He has spent about 2 years working tirelessly to create this 14 track magnum opus featuring some of the most incredible vocalists in the genre; including platinum selling artist Nadia Ali, Sarah McLeod, Tamra Keenan, Hadley, Sam Obernik, John Williams and Jerique. ‘On The Edge’ has already resulted in the hit single “Give It Up For Love” feat. John Williams and future anthem “This Is Your Life” with Nadia Ali. With ‘On The Edge,’ EDX’s musical vision finally came to fruition, yet he still aspires to evolve as an artist and further his already prolific career. In 2013, EDX has manifested new dimensions in his production without diminishing the strong connection to his roots. In his collaboration with Leventina for their track "The Sun," and their remix of Helvetic Nerds’ "Blood Pressure," EDX brought out a more clubby style that was widely supported by some of the most esteemed artists in the industry: David Guetta, Afrojack, and Avicii, among many others. In the midst of his work with Leventina, he pleased new and old fans alike by revitalizing the classic EDX progressive sound on songs such as "Sunset Miracles"(Spinnin'), "Touched"(Toolroom), and "Blessed"(Toolroom). Additionally, his most recent offering out on his own Pinkstar Records label, “Hazed,” has led him to explore sonic frontiers fit for the new age of dance music.

Lenny Fontana has DJed all over the world throughout his career. He was the First American DJ to play at the world famous ‘Pacha’ - (Ibiza). Lenny has played at iconic venues such as Ministry Of Sound - (London), ‘Studio 54’ - (New York City),  ‘Hacienda’ - (Manchester), ‘La Queen’ - (Paris) and he also DJ'ed for the closing party at  ‘The Chevron’ - (Melbourne).

VEELOOPER, born and raised in Aveiro - Portugal, is a Portuguese DJ with a rising talent.
From the age of 16, he began to develop interest for dance music and started to play at friends parties. As he stood out for his unique style and technique quickly moved to perform on some of the best local clubs.

The desire to continue to evolve and follow his dream in the music world, led him at the end of 2011 to move to Amsterdam - The Netherlands.
This change of life allowed him to be in contact with the best of the best and he is nowadays making steps as a producer. However, it is on the floor that you real feel his good vibe and unique style.

Started his music production journey with Fruity Loops 2.0 computer software in 1999, without any musical knowledge and not taking any professional lessons. This was a moment of his first experimentations with sound by intuition.
Continued actively with music as a freestyle rapper in Warsaw, Poland in 2003 by recording himself and friends through bacis microphone and home PC computer. Completed three-month-long internship in Radio Praga in Warsaw in all radio departments.

Developed more deeply after emigration to England, by investment in professional equipment and exploration of other directions in music. In 2008 bought his first pair of turntables and completed numerous music courses at Leeds College of Music (music theory, piano lessons, music sequencing, DJ technology). 
Inspired by DJ Angelo’s YouTube video tutorials, continued with one-on-one personal lessons and upgrading DJ skills taught by DJ Mike L, DJ Matman and DJ Tigerstyle and DJ Eprom so far.

Gained professional certification of Apple Logic Pro Master User in 2010.
 
Acted as performance DJ for numerous rappers and played at various events (Since 2010).
Radio Show Producer and Host - "Old School vs. New School" at Brunel University Radio, where presenting old and new genres and comparing them (2012-2013).
Member of ‘New Noise Ensemble’ as improvisation instrumentalist under conduction of Peter Wiegold (the director of Club Inégales and the Institute of Composing) (2013-2016). Worked for Point Blank Music School in 2016.
Sound designer for video game 'Orchid Nebula' (2016).
Freelance teacher of music production and DJ technology since 2015.

"END-OF-SCHOOL parties are usually noted for the destruction of friendships and common room furniture rather than the creation of world-class DJs. But 1986 bucked that trend and a new Deity of the Decks was born. When some friends needed help staging a school leaving party for 2000 people, Matt Solo - who would later become DJ MATT PROMO - threw together a Party Survival Kit and grabbed the helm. One rebel-rousing party later, his destiny was determined.

Less than three years down the line, he was managing a group of British DJs and forging connections with clubs that still stand strong today. By the early '90s, he was running a London record store, staging his own events and helping others promote theirs. In 1996, Matt quit the record store and started selling promos direct to the same DJs he'd served over the counter. At the same time he launched the infamous Aural Sex parties - and with them, his own DJ career.

In his first year behind the decks, Promo played at some of the most famous clubs in London, including; Ministry of Sound, The Cross, The End, Heaven, Turnmills and Hanover Grand. He was even called in to test the legendary Fabric sound system before it opened. It was not long before he turned his attention overseas and was playing in Europe, America and Canada. Back on British terra firma, he launched the hugely successful Good Life parties - and broke bar and attendance records. In 2002 he established the 3D collective playing various venues in London and Europe as well as a monthly slot on Ministry of Sound's radio as guests on the Secret Sessions (with an online audience of more than seven million!). By Summer 2003, he had completed seven new mixes and finished his first album before moving to Melbourne, Australia. There, he rapidly established his reputation on the club circuit as a DJ and a venue manager.

From Summer 2005 he started training in earnest to attempt breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest DJ (club) session marathon. At midnight on June 15th 2006 his training had paid off as he reached a staggering 87 hours continuous DJing. This wasn't the only record PROMO broke for marathon sessions. More modestly; he played the longest continuous live set on Kiss FM - in Melbourne, clocking up over 7 1/2 hours. More new partnerships included; MINDLESS ENTERTAINMENT who represent him for Australia; and NOISE TV who offered PROMO the chance to write and host the dance segment of their show.

Returning to London in 2007, MATT PROMO has played in; Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and the USA. His style encompasses a broad spectrum of house, including sublime jazzy sounds of Europe and the US, minimal, tech, progressive and tribal.

Ten years later, we add techno, electro, and acid in the mix and we have a machine that can't be stopped. Any genre he touches has his own signature flare and technical style with the added flavor of samples from the 80's /90's. Derteedisco is talent we can not stop watching. Mario Bocca has started his journey of DJ’ing in 2009. Right after showing up in the music scene he started to perform at the better clubs & events in Belgium such as La Rocca, Bocca, Club Lux, Illusion, Creamm, Insomnia Nights, Dance D-Vision, Club Pure (Ibiza), Vamos Club (France), and many more.

With his extensive knowledge from house music since 1995 till today and everything else in between, combined with the ability to read and feel a crowd, Dj Mario Bocca puts on a performance every time.

As his career was running up fast, in 2011 he decided to open his own club, “Club Lux” (St Lievens-Esse). It was a huge success, especially with the birth of his famous concept “Insomnia Nights”, still one of the best house concepts of Belgium. 

In 2015 he opened his second club, “Bocca” (Destelbergen), which became one of the leading clubs in the country. In that period he also created Made In Belgium, also a successful retro house concepts in Belgium.
