Am Sonntag durften wir das letzte Mal den Salon unserer Lieblingsbucht aufsperren. So viele liebgewonnene Gesichter zu sehen, hat uns die Aufregung, den nahenden Abschied und eine Raumtemperatur von mindestens eintausend Grad für kurze Zeit fast vergessen lassen. Mit unserem weißen Taschentuch standen wir am Hafen und haben uns Schweiß und die eine oder andere Träne aus dem Gesicht gewischt. Ein letztes „Lebe hoch“, kein Lebewohl, an die Bucht, in der unser Herz für immer vor Anker liegt!

ELIXIR, the intoxicating mixture of Lisa (Elisabeth) and Lexy, started their individual DJ journeys years ago as Ring & Dorf and Lisa Filou. After playing at national clubs, like Katerblau, Sisyphos, Bahnwärter Thiel and Waagenbau, and international festivals such as Fusion, Bucht der Träumer*, Distortion and Sa Terza Metari, they found themselfs one festival evening envisioning the idea of starting a duo project. 
Thereupon, the ELIXIR sound, a potion of deep house, nu disco and indie dance, was created and presented at various occasions, such as the Lieblingsbucht Closing Party, Mensch Meier Re-Opening, Wilde Möhre and Tarmac Festival.
When the pandemic kicked in, they also used their new free time to dive into long evenings of production and finetuning their musical vision. The first track produced together was released on the Laut & Luise Music Lovers Club Compilation end of 2021.
