Ty, also known as S.A. Music, threw together a mashup of Edward and Henry’s S1 themes two months ago, which I personally thought was brilliant. I had had the idea myself before, of mixing the two engines’ themes, but my attempts at making it work felt awkward or at least off. Ty, however, did it in a way that felt authentic to both characters and sounded like a potential track the show could have used. I mainly extended it in a way that includes a bridge and an ending, following the general flow of what may have been Henry’s full S1 theme. 

Also, a heads-up, my extension will not remain up if Ty is not okay with my choice to extend it. :)

Like "Old Iron Square Wheels", this is just a mashup of Thomas and Henry's themes with the former being in the style of the latter. This is another idea I had before, which I didn't quite know how to get it right until things started to click through my recreation of Ty's/S.A. Music's Edward and Henry mashup. There was also some inspiration from Isaiah (SwiggettySwoody)'s "Thomas Pulls the Flying Kipper" track. :)

Ahsoka | Ep. 7 & 8 Review & Recap | GMG TV | Ep. 11

Criticisms or encouragement are welcome!

I restructured my previous take, mixed it a little differently, upped the tempo a beat, and added bass (which was previously not there). 

For those who are curious, the reason I restructured it is because A) I was by that point fairly tired of the Off The Rails trumpet ditty it began with, B) it all felt a little disjointed in retrospect, and C) I really wanted it to be more faithful to the original theme as far as what was included in it. (No S3+ ending bit.) I'm more happy with this as it is now, and I believe it to be more accurate.

Henry the Green Engine (S1, V2)

Due to the realization tonight that you can only replace tracks on already uploaded ones if you have Pro, I am re-uploading this mashup. :) The main changes are more "stable"/leveled out audio levels and the addition of the previously absent bassline. Other changes include slightly more prominent strings, tweaked flute trills, and the tempo being 1 BPM higher. Aside from these things, I think this is basically the same as before. 

I hope you guys enjoy this fixed-up version, and I want to say thank you for listening to any and all of my tracks. I really do appreciate it!

Thomas's Theme ITSO Henry's Theme (v2)

Happy Full House Friday Everyone,

Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.

Today, I'm kicking off a new Series, Joey's Comedy Career Journey Series, with Full House S1E16: But Seriously Folks, which aired on February 5, 1988.

In this episode Joey's convinced that his comic debut in front of a talent scout is jinxed.

I liked this episode, as it had a valuable lesson for both Joey and DJ.

Joey's ready for his big night at the comedy club, with the possibility of being discovered by a talent scout from HBO looking for the next up and coming comic to give them their big break, an HBO Comedy Special.

Sadly Phyllis Diller happens to be in the audience right as Joey's ready to take the stage, and boy is he upstaged since he never makes it up there and of course the audience is all laughed out once she leaves, also leaving is the HBO Talent Scout.

Joey's is begging people to stay and listen to his act. It's late, they all have to get home.

Joey takes this lack of an opportunity to make people laugh and maybe be discovered, hard.

He quits comedy and loses the mullet which he mousses down and dons a suit to go on interviews and accepts none of the job offers.

He's not the only one quitting and giving up, DJ started the band The Bracelets with Kimmy who's on keyboard (they really stick with Kimmy and the keyboard thing as the show goes on, even in Fuller House). DJ getting guitar lessons from Jesse and she gives up because she's not good at it at first, we really never come back to this because she eventually moves on to the drums in Season 2.

Danny and Jesse realize that Joey needs comedy in his life and the family need Joey in theirs (the old Joey) not this "Joe" guy he keeps referring to himself as. Danny and Jesse devise a plan to take Joey down to the club and Jesse tries out Joey's act messing up Joey's jokes on purpose causing Joey to jump up on stage and take over.

The HBO guy rep didn't show, but it ends up being his night because people are laughing and being entertained by his jokes.

Old Joey is BACK!

Joey tells DJ, don't give up on something if it doesn't come natural to you right away, keep plugging away at it until you succeed. If it's not your thing that's ok too, but at least give it some effort before moving on to something else.

Hi there! I’m a young man who is, first and foremost, a follower of Yeshua the Messiah who belongs to YeHoVaH the Most High. Consequently, it is my desire to please Him in all I do. My former name for my SoundCloud was “AMusicalExplorer”.

I have always greatly liked music since I was little and what all can be communicated through it. I’m at most a beginner with music, but I desire to explore it, and by that I mean, explore writing music, trying out different compositions of songs that have already been written (remixes or mashups, one may say), and also growing in my understanding of music (not everyone starts out a pro, of course).


A few things to bear in mind here:

2. Be kind to one another.

3. If you have criticism of my work, have ideas for a song, or else, you just want to communicate something to me, please do it respectfully and also patiently. I’m an infant in regards to music, and I am still learning.
