The next chapter of Siamese's Various Artists series reveals some of the club-friendliest tracks that we have played over the last couple of months. All of these were road-tested over and over in different settings and every single one proofed to be effective in its own way. These eight tracks, as different as they come, fit nicely in our sets from beginning to end and show the variety that we play and also present on the label. "Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019, DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production from the Brookyln based German artist.

In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.

Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a pure transcendental workout.

Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour, Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. 
Melodic synths bounce off a mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label."

Although it’s been a year to forget for most of the electronic music scene, we’re happy to say that Nōpi has come through the tumultuous times stronger than ever. He began the year making his debut with us on the inaugural Blanche project, seizing the spotlight with an XYZ instant classic - Mayaya. Since then, he’s graced the likes of TRYBESof, Anjunadeep, and Kindisch, establishing himself at the core of the deep and melodic community.

As a final nod to his defining year thus far, we’re thrilled to have the Ukranianian back on the label to close the circle on 2020. Landscape Cloud is a project we’ve been looking forward to for many months, harnessing the tones that we’ve come to love from Nōpi.

On the A-side, he’s connected with Indian vocalist Shrii for a true beauty. Smooth percussion and deep pads set the stage for sumptuous and powerful vocals, kicking into gear with middle eastern instrumentals. Ominous yet uplifting; epic dancefloor moments are in store with Landscape Cloud at the helm.
