Top female snowboarder Kyla Duffy shares how her drive to strive resulted in many wild adventures, including a high-wire act in the circus, where she faced her fear of heights during typhoon season. 

Her wild journey began at Camp Woodward skateboard camp, where she met Tony Hawk and started her first business. She won her first snowboard competition without knowing how to ride. She tells some hilarious stories where we glimpse the East Street lifestyle in Stowe while Kyla was homeschooled and competed in snowboarding in the ‘90s. When her career ended after a few close calls, Kyla started a snack food company while in college, attained several degrees, and then sold rock climbing walls. While teaching at CU, she was introduced to another extreme sport—trapeze—and ultimately joined the circus in Japan. 

From calculating risk to the value of coaching, Kyla's story is a testament to the power of determination and resilience in achieving athletic, business, and intellectual milestones. Today, she leverages her incredible life experiences as a career coach and resume writer.

You will find an assortment of my music here. Some of it has been professionally produced. Some is the result of collaborations with very talented musician acquaintances who are skilled in the areas I am not: guitar, keyboards, virtual instruments, mixing, mastering, producing. The rest is a variety of simple vocal with acoustic guitar strumming that I have done myself in my tiny home studio (computer, interface, microphone).

Thank you for sticking with me and listening to my songs every day. I notice the ones who show up, the ones who keep coming back, the ones who let my music into their life. I hope these songs have given you as much strength and peace as they’ve given me. I write them to lift the soul and the spirit, because in these times we need every bit of light we can get.

The only thing I can tell you is this. Never give up on yourself. If you want something, you have to work for it, and sometimes you have to work hard as shit to get anywhere. But I believe in you. I believe you will reach that first goal on your journey in this life. And when you do, don’t stop. Keep going. There is always another level waiting for you.

I'm trying to create my own indie game with my own songs so maybe I'll post some in here.

My three spirit helpers: Polar bear-strength and persistence, golden eagle-vision and wisdom, and monarch butterfly-flexibility-adaptability-mobility, tenacity. together they assist me in staying focused, directed, and single-minded.
My musical history dates back 65 years as I learned classical piano for 3 years from the age of 8, then developed my ear by listening to pop and rock songs on the radio and learning them on piano. It's not till I was 17 that I began playing with others in bands for a few years and performed locally. 
I started composing and singing and recording my songs when I turned 50, my mother was dying, she had been a chorist for 30 years, and i wanted to show her that I could sing a lovely love song before she passed at the age of 80 in 2005. I sang « L’important c’est la rose » de Becaud.
I've composed 145 songs and have 140 on Soundcloud for monetizing and distribution. 
I am semi-retired massage therapist and am making more time to compose and record.
The sculptures which I highlight in my song art are made by me from Alabaster.

Dudley Anderson was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from Bible College in 1990, God opened the way for Dudley to branch out into Christian radio. As a musician and worship leader he developed a heart for Christian music, which became the main thrust of his radio work in South Africa.
