🍄 Music For Mushrooms is a dedication to spaces of transcendence in nature, in particular to the network of the forest - Mycelium. With this project, artist Ophelia Bakowski explores, through a selection of compositions, field recordings, and live instrumentation, what it might be like to be a mushroom. Sounds collected and arranged for this work have been gathered in the process of foraging, consuming, exuding, and becoming. Tender has been a space to nourish and develop these ideas further over the Autumn months and now, as the season is here, it’s time to imprint our spores 💓

„Ein Kuss im Dunkeln“ ist ein nächtlicher Streifzug durch eine verwundete Stadt – Neonlichter auf nassem Asphalt, Sirenen in der Ferne, ein leises Herzklopfen unter Straßenlaternen. Es geht um Sehnsucht, um die Momente, die weiterleuchten, wenn alles andere längst verblasst ist. Zwischen Rauch, Regen und Erinnerung bleibt eine Zärtlichkeit, die nicht vergeht. Die Stimme trägt dieses Gefühl – rau und doch voller Seele, wie ein Flüstern an eine Nacht, die man nicht loslässt.

“Ein Kuss im Dunkeln” is a late-night walk through a wounded city — neon reflections on wet asphalt, sirens in the distance, a quiet heartbeat under the streetlights. It’s a song about longing, about the moments that still glow even when everything else fades. Between smoke, rain, and memory, there’s a tenderness that refuses to die. The voice carries that ache — rough yet soulful, like someone whispering to the night they can’t forget.

Eric Dahl is a songwriter with ties to the state of Washington on both sides of the Cascade mountains. He was born in Colville in the northeastern corner of the state. His father was a teacher from Spokane who soon moved with his family to western Washington. Dahl’s mother is a native of Leavenworth with relatives in the Wenatchee Valley. Eric grew up in Kent and south Seattle, but thanks to his maternal grandfather and uncles, he worked in the Leavenworth fruit orchards and hiked from an early age in the Cascade Mountains to the high lakes. Later he studied and published poetry at Whitman College in Walla Walla, the University of Washington in Seattle, and at Oxford University where he was awarded the Isis Poetry Prize.
