I wrote this song after reading the book Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. It's a fun, introspective, upbeat acoustic/electric track.

Isla grew up on the edge of quiet mountain town, where long drives and late-night porch talks shaped her love for storytelling. Music first found her through the gentle hum of her grandmother’s record player—an old wooden console that spun everything from Emmylou Harris to Norah Jones. But it wasn’t until her teenage years, after the loss of someone close, that Isla began writing songs of her own—at first in the margins of notebooks, then late at night with a borrowed guitar and a voice she was still learning to trust.

Bryan J. Nelson is a musician, composer, singer/songwriter based out of Walla Walla, Washington. He studied music at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington where he was a percussion performance major.

Alex Summerlin is an eclectic alternative and folk-rock musician who has played music professionally for over a decade around the Little Rock, AR, and Nashville, TN areas. Originally hailing from Bryant, AR, Alex was drawn to music at a young age by the generations of working musicians in his family.  He started playing cover music in local bars and clubs as young as 12 years old, playing music steadily throughout his teens and twenties.

Alex started writing music in college as a passion project to break out of the limitations he felt playing cover songs. There, he met fellow long-time musicians and collaborators Rick Scott and Chad Terrell, and they joined Alex to write and produce songs from their home studio in Maumelle, AR (WaterWoods Studio). 

Since then, Alex, Chad, and Rick have continued writing and producing songs that reflect influences from several genres and three generations of music they wish to share with anyone who will listen.
