El Cholo Astral es una de las propuestas más singulares del norte de México. Originario de Monterrey, este artista multidisciplinario fusiona cumbia, electrónica y atmósferas tropicales con una estética visual inspirada en la cultura cholombiana y el imaginario urbano.
A través de su cumbia denominada “Cumbiastral”, crea un universo sonoro donde convergen la cumbia rebajada, electrónica experimental, house clásico, hip-hop, dancehall, sampleos de cumbia tradicional y ritmos del mundo. El resultado es una mezcla vibrante y espiritual que invita al baile.
Como director de arte, acompaña su música con ilustraciones propias, generando una experiencia integral que conecta lo tradicional con lo contemporáneo, y lo místico con lo cotidiano.
