My musical journey started back in the late 90's, i was flat out into trance, spinning vinyl and burning up the wheels of steel. I spent my mid to late twenties in London when funky house music was alive and thumping. I got to play at some wicked bars and sweat dripping house parties with some incredible people. Now days, it's spinning tunes across multiple genres. Whilst trance is still right up there, I've spread my wings into progressive trance, tech house, techno, jive / disco / funky / groove / progressive house.  Love a dark dirty solid bass beat ranging between 120bpm through to 145bpm. That's the sweet spot 🤙Now living in New Zealand and always up for a gig with like minded people!

From the early start of the Hardstyle rise playing in some of West Wales highly respected underground clubs from the age of only 18 and then becoming one half of one of the UK’s leading Hardstyle duos, D.T.R has seen a highly exceptional and very successful musical career expand in over 16 years of dj'ing and producing experience. From back in the glory days of Bionic and leading himself to play on the main stage at the huge and truly loved Hardclassics event in Amsterdam, D.T.R never fails to disappoint the crowd in his high energy mixing and entertaining sets. During his time as one half of Ed E.T & D.T.R he attained over 20 No.1 Hardstyle chart positions on well reputed hardstyle labels such as DJ’s United Records, Blutonium Records, Loverloud, RVRS Bass, Ourstyle, Bionic Digital and many more and has had support from leading hardstyle headliners globally.

Tout commence à l’adolescence, lorsqu’il explore les boîtes de nuit du Nord de la France et de la Belgique. La découverte des sonorités de la hard musique hollandaise le marquera particulièrement.

À l’âge de 15 ans, il achète ses premières platines et ses premiers vinyles. Il apprécie des labels comme Fusion records, Scantraxx, Babaorum records et Records mania, qu’il passe en boucle dans sa chambre.
Le djing va le pousser à s’intéresser et à comprendre la façon dont la musique est produite. 
C’est alors qu’il se lance dans la composition dès ses 16 ans. Toutefois, il devra mettre cette activité en stand-by pour se consacrer à sa vie professionnelle, avant de la reprendre en 2024.

Pendant ce laps de temps, ses préférences musicales lui ont offert l’occasion de découvrir les rave partys à partir de ses 19 ans, dans lesquelles il a eu l’opportunité de collaborer en tant qu’organisateur, mais aussi en tant que DJ avec différents sound systems.
