Inspired by true events the battle of El Alamein was where my grandfather Frank mitchell fought in the dead of night and shelling. I can only imagine what he and so many went through.  This Composition tells the story of him under the shelling wanting to come home alive thinking of his dear sister Blanche

Drawing from sixteen years of experience and solo travels through Latin America, Gee Beat infuses his house and tech house sets with mesmerizing Brazilian grooves and Latin percussions. His performances create transcendental experiences where the dancefloor becomes a space of shared energy and connection.

More than entertainment, Gee Beat embodies the philosophy that reality bends to those who dare to dream and act, proving that music becomes a gateway to infinite possibilities when you believe in your vision.

I started my musical journey at the age of five, initially composing music with tablature taught by my father. Beginning with the penny whistle and violin, I played in our family band, busking on the streets of Bath.

Our travels across the country inspired compositions like "Road to Wareham." Music became my sanctuary, especially after being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In college, under mentors such as Dr. Rick Birley, Dr. Richard Hall, and Dr. Julie Trevett, I honed my skills in composition, theory, and piano, transitioning to formal music notation using Sibelius.

Today, I compose for film, video games, and theatre. My music, influenced by my diverse experiences, aims to evoke emotion and tell stories.
