Lors de captations "live" Cheyenne café de Lorient, j’ai composé en direct  Huug.
(une vidéo est d'ailleurs disponible). J’ai ainsi superposé différentes boucles d’instruments instruments sur mon « looper ».

During live recordings at Cheyenne Café in Lorient, I composed Huug live. (a video is also available). I thus superimposed different loops of instruments.

Huug

This track fires like a test flight over Mojave. Guitar and alto sax trade a crab canon hook that mirrors itself forward and backward, so the melody feels clever without losing punch. Verses lock to palindromic drum cells that read the same both ways, while the hats and snare keep popping on the and of two and the and of four to drive the groove. When the chorus hits, everything straightens into a big anthem you can shout with. Lyrically it salutes Charles Yeager, the orange bullet, and the first shock of a sonic boom, then dives back into the mirrored riff for the break and solo. It is precise, aggressive, and built to sound like motion itself.

Fast instrumental melodic jazz/rock.
This piece is very energetic yet melodic, using a combination of acoustic and electronic instruments. After a short keyboard introduction, the main tune is split between alto and soprano saxophones, with an improvised tenor sax solo.

Two cats I know, Duchess and Earl, partly inspired me to compose this track. Two house cats just lazing around, getting into a bit of trouble but quite likeable all the same.
Produced, mixed and mastered using Cubase 14 Pro.
