At the end of a sunny Autumn Equinox day, I had the honor of opening the journey of the Fire Element Floor, igniting the flames of the night for "Elemental Dreams", the 2nd chapter of Dancing Divinations x Desert Dreams (a magical collab. between 8Doc & Lacuna collectives). My set channeled the burning energy of transformation, passion, and creativity, fully embodying the spirit of the element. Through hypnotic beats and shamanic rhythms, I invited the dancers to connect with their inner fire, setting the stage for an evening of collective energy and movement. Together, we sparked a flame that illuminated the celebration, weaving ancient traditions into the vibrant pulse of the modern world.

Over 10 years we host our famous podcast series. Which started as an small idea of some Afterhour nerds developed over the years to something special for us ♥️

Darren Austin Hall is a multi-dimensional musician, masterful sound healer, & spiritual educator. He tours internationally, sharing his healing music with the crystal singing bowls and his array of spirituality and wellness workshops, courses and retreats. Gifted with as a 'song channeller' with a 'multi-dimensional voice', Darren's concerts and Sound Journeys take people on deep and transformative experiences. He was a featured performer at the TEDx Conference in Toronto and is an acclaimed writer contributing to many online zines, as well as being a spoken word poet. He is a recording artist and has produced ground-breaking albums of Sound Healing and 'shamanic pop' music. He is also co-founder, DJ and co-facilitator of The Big Love Ecstatic Dance & Cacao Ceremony as well as his own Shaking Medicine Ecstatic Movement offerings. Darren is also the founder of Conscious Masculinity Toronto and facilitates a men’s group devoted to raising the consciousness of the masculine as well as the Earth Knights Men's Retreats. He is the creator and facilitator of the 75HR Source Resonance Training in Sound Healing, Sacred Music & Vibrational Philosophy. Darren has also trained with indigenous elders and wisdom keepers the world over and has been on an odyssey reclaiming his own European indigenous heritage. He is devotee of the wisdom of nature, tales of the Goddess and is committed to regenerating ancient eco-spiritual wisdom to help guide humanity toward a new age of great peace and harmony with the Earth. He is currently at work on a series of books on spiritual philosophy and tantric writings and poetry to be released soon.

Doris Merlin, better known as TAHiTA, was born in the mid-80s in the heart of the Italian Dolomites. From an early age, music was her muse. At age 6, she already played music for her schoolmates by combining together different songs on a double cassette player. Raised on her father's eclectic 80's disco collection, TAHiTA's fascination with old school records remains an indelible influence on her musical palette.

Venturing to London in her twenties, she immersed herself in the pulsating waves of minimal and techno of the early 2000s, delving deeper into the sonic abyss to craft her distinct signature sound. It wasn't long before she found herself behind the decks, having fun djing with friends. 

After a youth spent reveling in the euphoria of partying, traveling, and spinning records for sheer joy, TAHiTA felt more and more the call to ascend from the dance floor to the DJ booth. Her migration to Berlin in 2016 marked a pivotal moment in her career, performing in renowned venues like Wilden Renate & Club der Visionaere where she was able to achieve a remarkable success thanks to her infectious energy and warm, captivating selection.

Renowned for her unpredictable, genre-spanning mixes, TAHiTA seamlessly weaves together contemporary electronic beats with 80's disco & tribal ancestral rhythms, inviting listeners on a transformative odyssey through realms of euphoria and introspection. Her music serves as a conduit for connection, guiding us on the journey to ascension, a journey made of duality between ego and soul, hate and love, shadow and light, bringing us back to our true divine nature.

TAHiTA's journey is one of perpetual evolution, a testament to the boundless creativity and unyielding passion that define her artistry. As she continues to push the boundaries of sound and consciousness, her vision of a harmonious future beckons us to dance, dream, and rediscover the primal pulse of the tribal spirit hidden in our cellular memory, reminding us of the infinite power of Love residing in all of us.
