LXB 7: tech house

Bern V is a Luxembourg-based DJ originally from the Philippines. Her musical journey began in childhood teaching herself to play the piano and evolved in her teenage years through recording mixtapes on cassette and exploring rhythm and flow through dance. At 18, she dreamt of becoming a DJ. Decades later,  just before turning 40, she turned that dream into reality. Her early performances span private events across Metro Manila, Bonaire, Dubai, and Luxembourg. 

Her sound is rooted in house music, blending bass-driven grooves, emotive vocals, and genre-fluid textures. Known for long, seamless blends, she creates sets that are both intentional and instinctive.

 Influenced by her background in yoga and mindful movement,  Bern V treats every performance as an exploration of presence, connection, and release. Her music builds spaces where rhythm
unites, movement feels free, and joy becomes shared.

The mixes are named after the airport codes of the places where they are created. Apart from DJing, Bern V also loves to travel to eat.

Her other passions are yoga and barre, and teaching mindful movement. She loves bringing people together whether over a home-cooked meal or the shared love for music.
