Before they INITIATE GHOST PROTOCOL, Keegan tells his much hyped story from his lil’ teenage ruffian years and Jeremy cannot, in the slightest, contain himself as the pod gears up to watch one of his favourite movies of all time.
With director Brad Bird fresh off Ratatouille, he brought his animation eye-for-detail and delivered a genre-defining action/adventure extravaganza. 
The Watchie Boiyz discuss retconning Ethan Hunt’s marriage, blowing up the Kremlin and of course spend a large chunk of time explaining the many ways Tom Cruise is a crazy person for dangling out of the tallest building in the world for our amusement.
Will Keegan finally get his launch codes? Has Jeremy overhyped this movie way too much? Will the Watchie Boiyz be able to climb the Burj-Khalifa with only one sticky glove?

Watchie Boiyz Presents… Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)

The Bloobcast tackle a beloved movie from their childhoods as they look at Brad Bird's 1999 classic The Iron Giant.

They discuss the movie's 1950's setting and Cold War setting, the themes of anti violence, differences from the original book, how the film set itself apart from Disney, and how poor marketing tanked the film's box office.

Episode 33 - The Iron Giant

Directed by Brad Bird (in his directorial debut), The Iron Giant is the animated science fiction film based on the 1968 novel The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.

Luke and Nathan revisit this 1999 classic which stars the voices of Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., Vin Diesel, James Gammon, Cloris Leachman, John Mahoney, Eli Marienthal, Christopher McDonald, and M. Emmet Walsh.

A giant alien robot (Vin Diesel) crash-lands near the small town of Rockwell, Maine, in 1957. Exploring the area, a local 9-year-old boy, Hogarth, discovers the robot, and soon forms an unlikely friendship with him. When a paranoid government agent, Kent Mansley, becomes determined to destroy the robot, Hogarth and beatnik Dean McCoppin (Harry Connick Jr.) must do what they can to save the misunderstood machine.
