Integrated Unity juxtaposes the flute and piano’s physical body with a mostly unified and homogenous musical
texture to explore a balance of timing, orchestration, rhythm, silence, and repetition. Together, the musical lines
integrate in and out of unison, while attempting to blur the metric feel of a pulse that returns and leaves. Inspired
by AI generative art, this composition hopes to create a work that feels familiar, yet provides a fresh quirky
perspective of run-on sentences and incomplete thoughts integrated into a cohesive piece.

Salt Spray Chamber is made as per ASTM B117 and JIS 2371 which is used for conducting Neutral Salt Spray Test or NSS test on Meta Surface Coatings. It is used for checking the resistance of the coating towards corrosive environment. The Salt Spray Tester generates an accelerated form of Salt laden environment inside which the specimen are tested for its quality.

Humidity chamber is a vital testing instrument for analysing the prolong effect of humidity on components to fix its quality parameters. This instrument is not subjected to only one industry applications. It is used in pharmaceuticals, plastic and rubber industries for quality assurance testing.

How does Humidity Chambers Work?

for reed quintet (oboe, B-flat clarinet, alto saxophone, bass clarinet, and bassoon)

“oblivion” was composed for award-winning West Coast reed quintet Splinter Reeds during their 2021 residency with Western Michigan University. The piece was composed with abstract thematic direction during a period of burnout and writer’s block, but thankfully, I was thrilled with the results as I received part recordings from the brilliant performers and completed the mixing process. Today, it stands as a piece that reminds me to push through apathy and uncertainty, and to trust that my efforts are valuable.

This vigorous setting of "Market Maze" from Elsa Gidlow's On a Grey Thread (1923) was recorded by soprano Lindsay Nichols and violist Eric Szanto in April of 2022. When discovering and reading this collection, believed to be North America's first published volume of openly lesbian love poetry, I was inspired to set selections for voice and to share this beautiful piece of queer history in the concert space.
