Contrary to popular belief, I don't only do 150bpm, sometimes I just noodle, it's theraputic..

Last night was 'one of those nights' when I needed a bit of 'me' time and just happened to have the laptop recording the mixer output (as one does) just in case anything interesting appeared in my meandering jams.   This was one of those bits...

Noodling first with a nice ambient grainy piano thing on the WaveState, I made a bit of a meandering pad sequence on the Radias, and a random generative thing on the Blofeld (both via Cirklon) then just jammed ambient noises etc from the Wavestate on top. Oh, the long bit of dialog was just playing back a single clip from the Octatrack. Bit overkill but it was the most convenient thing to play a long sample that was switched on...

And before anyone expresses concern. 
This wasn't about *my* black dog. ;-)

Ambiessence...

Apart from the drums (BD = Sy 0.5,  hh = mutant hihats, tom= ubraids II, clap = mutant clap) This is all a single Dust of time bass patch through 4ms DLD. the osc1 is FM and osc 2 is basic sin, there is plenty of internal modulation including the osc1-2 mix controlled by velocity. everything was recorded in 1 go, sequenced by cirklon. and DoT knobs were wiggled. Drums are mono, so any "stereoness" you hear is from the routing in the DoT patch

The Kronos is a brilliant workstation keyboard easily capable of recording a final track.
