The free "Irish Harp" from Native Instruments inspired me to compose this little piece. I was looking forward to using the "Shire Whistle" from Embertone for quite a long time and this has been the perfect opportunity.

A Dance in the Meadows

A few months ago, my 12-year-old son introduced me to the epic anime, Demon Slayer, and I immediately fell in love. The artistry... the storytelling, it sucked me right in! I created this arrangement as an homage to this amazing anime, and I orchestrated using Embertone's Intimate Strings, and Walker Concert D Piano. Thanks for listening!

Intimate Solo Strings Bundle - Demon Slayer - Tanjirou Kamado No Uta

I recently challenged myself to make an expanded string quintet arrangement around the theme from the popular anime, DEATH NOTE. My son got me hooked on a couple other shows, namely Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan. Death Note will be the next show I binge watch :).

The theme has an interesting meter (alternating 13/8 and 14/8), and it's extremely stark and transparent: just a melody and a bassline. I tried to make the orchestration as colorful and interesting as possible, using only solo strings. It takes on a much different vibe from the original - almost sounds like something Stravinsky would write!

And then after sitting on the arrangement for a while, I couldn't resist but to add a subtle bass synth pulse, just to fill out the bottom end.

Intimate Solo Strings Bundle - L's Theme from Death Note

A song written to be a combination of Miral’s and Justin’s theme and to capture the emotions and scene of the chapters named after it.  The strings used are a combination of Spitfire packs that have a wavering and uncertain feeling to them.  I always felt that the strings were weeping throughout the first half of the song. 

First composed in 2001, registered copyrights in 2014, remixed and mastered in 2023.

Hi, I'm Torben Fugger, a composer from Koblenz (Germany) who focuses primarily on cinematic orchestral music. In my pieces, which often fall into the adventure or fantasy genre, I attach great importance to strong and catchy melodies and an emotional impact.

I think that the many years of listening to Johns Williams music on my Walkman while delivering newspapers in my youth have left their mark.
